Patch doesnt work

i manually installed the 1.2.71 patch
and it still says downloading patch...

and it stays like that with no network activity at all
when i exit it says see the logfile outspark.exe.log for details

inside the log it says

I believe the issue may be due to your Operating System. As of now, all Outspark.com games are designed for Windows XP and are not recommended for play on any other Operating System. However, if you are using Windows Vista, then I have a list of steps that may help:

1. Right click the game icon (Fiesta)
2. Select Properties
3. Select the Compatibility Tab
4. Select Windows XP (Service Pack 2)
5. Click Apply
6. Reattempt to run the game with the Outspark Launcher
Please let me know if has resolved your issue in the form of a post in this thread.

Another recommendation for all of you who are encountering this issue is to uninstall and reinstall. Please be aware that there are many Windows Vista users who do not have this issue including staff members here at Outspark. putting compat setting onto win98 seems to have fixed the problem

however now im getting the unauthorized 412 and its telling me Please check that your username and password are correct, and that you are running the lastest Outspark software.

and I know my password is correct also just finished patching.
even tried reinstalling

3gb ram

Hrm... the 412 error means either your username/password combo are incorrect OR that you are running an outdated and unsupported version of the Outspark Launcher.

At this point, you will probably have to start fresh, and reinstall the Outspark Launcher completely. I assure you the game should work, I have reinstalled it using our fileplanet link, and updated it with the manual patch link. You are most likely having issues with running Windows Vista and it has been reported by various users that they seem to encounter more issues with patches than others using Windows XP or older. I apologize for this frustration but at this time it's unfortunately all we can do.

ok now i got the game to start

i uninstalled
reinstalled
applied manual patch under compat for xp and 2000 and without
now the game starts when i login

however when i get into the game it says

Connection to server has failed.
and it closes itself when i press ok

I believe you are having trouble connecting to our log in servers. There may be an issue with your Internet speed caused by your Internet Service Provider (ISP). I suggest that you try to connect at another time, and/or contact your network administrator/ISP to make sure that your Internet Connection is working properly. Also, you should check on the following and be sure that you are:

1. You are not accessing via a proxy
2. Your Internet connection is stable and consistent
3. Any firewall(s) you are running are disabled
