Hi! And welcome to WarCrySPRO, a Guild Recruitment Event hosted by WarCry.

Who we are

First of all, and for those who might not be quite familiar with our guild, let us introduce ourselves. WarCry is a guild started by our incredible master, Ghost666, along with some of our most representative admins. We have been around for over 2 years, and our mission is to “be recognized as one of Bijou’s most powerful guilds”, understanding ‘powerful’ as a combination of excelling in the three areas that we describe in our slogan: friendship (since without bonds, there is no future), battle (as a warring and pvp’ing active guild we do strive to perfection our battle style and battle strategy as much as we can), and passion (we encourage our guild members to ‘like what they do’, as a means to ensure entertainment, since, bottomline, this is a game and a game is played for fun).

WarCry is a multicultural guild. We have people from all over the world, and we love our differences. You will see English, Spanish, Arabian, Dutch, German, and many other languages in our guild chat. While the members are not required to speak them all (:p), English becomes key to understand each other. But it is amazing to join our Skype calls where you get to interact with people from all over the world, with everything that such an interaction implies. We are proud to say that laughters will never lack in WarCry…



What we seek

What? WarCry recruiting? Let’s spam the members to join!

If you are thinking that, we want to first make clear that, while we look to make this a unique event, this is not just recruitment. We are not looking to fill our guild, in fact, the spots that could possibly be filled, are limited. We are not looking to expand our power, or to become stronger for a particular challenge. We have made it to a point where, while some of our members are in a break or busy with things in their lives, we thought we could enjoy going through a process where to identify members in the community that could be wanting to become WarCry, that we could teach our ways, and that could also enjoy the company of the elders in the guild. This is an event, and as an event, it is designed to bring to the guild (including those who participate and those who actually get recruited) more entertainment, understanding entertainment as one of the key things that we look to guarantee to our guild members in order to succeed as a guild. So if you were thinking what it says above, and you are prepared to spam that one member that you know, or to follow WarCry members all over Isya to try to get along with them and join, we are afraid, that your efforts might be pointless.

WarCry has had, throughout the time, several instances of recruitment. While the master and the most representative admins belong to the first two waves of recruitment, some of the most representative members and admins joined the guild in different waves. Librachan, Twet, Driizzy, Fiara, assassin22, Holistic_Healer, Syphii, lukescreation, xjadedx, Alliyaah, Ruy, are just some examples of very representative members that joined in successive waves of recruitment. This is another of those instances, with the particular difference that we want to make it in a way that is also, fun and entertaining. So this will be not only recruitment, but also, like we said before, one of our most special guild events.

Our goal is “to identify by the end of the process 5 people in the Bijou community that are willing to wear the WarCry t-shirt with pride, carrying our guild tag with them every day until the last day they play Fiesta, and making the guild proud of counting with them.” In order to achieve this goal, we will give our best as a guild to provide the applicants with all the help they need throughout the process, but in the other hand, we expect from them an approach with honesty at various times.

How we are doing it

WarCrySPRO program is a 5 staged process that will involve not only the applicants but also the current guild members. If you always wanted to join WarCry, or if you never thought of it but now you are thinking about it, joining the program could be your chance!

Stage 1: Applications
The first stage was very simple, yet not easy to go through ;). Applicants submitted a GoogleDoc form with some information we needed to know about them.

This was their first approach to most of us, and we were aiming to know them better. The information in that application was shared between the WarCry Master and Admins. While the window to submit more apps is already closed, we are currently in the process of determining which ones will move on to the next stage.

All those applications approved will move to the next Stage. Those rejected will be receiving a message communicating so. The decisions are unquestionable.

Stage 2: Feedbacks
All those applicants who have successfully gone through stage 1 will be entered in stage 2. This instance is, as title says, feedbacks. Basically, we will gather feedback about you from two different sources:

• Your current Guild Master
• Our current Guild Members

The reason to do this has to do with the profiles we are looking to recruit. Since we strive to have nice relationships with every guild that is respectful to us, we consider that if someone applies to our guild is it important for us to talk to that Guild’s Master about you and why he considers that you should be a WarCry. If you were thinking about applying behind your current Guild’s back, you can forget about it, since we do not do to others what we don’t like others to do to us. If you consider that your Guild Master for a particular reason should not be aware of your application, make sure you state that reason in the application at Stage 1, and make sure that reason is a legitimate reason for him/her not knowing, since we do not support backstabbing activities.

Also we will gather feedback about you inside our guild because, and although it should be obvious, those will be your future guild members and the ones who will party and work together with you. You must be aware that the fact that everyone in the guild loves you doesn’t guarantee a spot for you; same if a few don’t like you. Unlike other guilds, we have had differences in between our members and, although they might represent a challenge to some guilds, we like to encourage diversity and we consider that after a nice and mature discussion, all problems can be solved.

Based on both feedbacks, all those applications approved will move to the next Stage. Those rejected will be receiving a message communicating so. The decisions are unquestionable.

Stages 3 and 4 include a series of fun activities and mini Guild Events that will help the applicants show their skills and knowledge about their classes. The applicants will participate in these events together with the guild members.

Details about the mini events on Stages 3 and 4 will be posted once Stages 1 and 2 are completed.

Frequently Asked Questions

1- Do you guys have a level requirement to apply?
No. Anyone can submit an application. However, while, for example, a lvl 30's playing style might differ from a lvl 100 one, we have to be honest and recognize, that not necesarily all kind of levels will go through the process. The reason for this has to do with avoiding the applicant time going through the process to join a guild that doesn't really count with certain level ranges like to provide support for that applicant while playing this game: since most of the guild is 90+, our activites are in a way restricted to what those levels can do. If you want to join a certain KQ with your guildmates, and your level is not in the guild's level range, you will be alone. Same for grinding parties and associated activities. If the level of the player restricts the amount of activites this player can join together with his/her guildmates, we consider that a profile not matching what we are looking for, and the application will most likely not go through the process.
The guild has another option for those whose level is far from the guild's average level range: academy. Feel free to join it and be a part of our 'family' through that feature, though. Our admins will be glad to explain to you our recruitment policy for academy members.

2- If I wanna join with my spouse, can I do it?
Both can submit an application, but not necesarily both of you will make it through the process. If only one of you makes it, we expect maturity when the decision is communicated. Also, if your spouse is in another guild, and we are fighting that guild in a PVP instance, we expect maturity as well to understand that your guild will be expecting you to fight. Of course, all information disclosed in the guild chat must remain in between guild members, no matter how close you and your spouse could be.

3- Are you guys gonna recruit outside of this App/Event thingy?
Not at the moment, for the sake of our whispers xDDDDDDD This is not only about recruiting people but also about having some fun together with the guild members. Fill the application to enter the program if you are willing to join.

4- I am too lazy to complete the application, can you add me directly?
Not at the moment. We consider that if you really want something, something you have waited for some time already, you wouldn't mind waiting a bit more. The application takes around 5 minutes, take a deep breath and write... :D ;)

5- I don't understand, how do I apply?
Go to http://spreadsheets.google.com/viewf...UkJMLTdkWWc6MQ and fill the automated application through GoogleDocs. And please, read the post! It is all in there! QQ!

6- I'm putting some private info, how do I know this is undisclosed?
The application goes through GoogleDocs to an e-mail address accessed only by a few Admins and the Master. In stage 2, when we ask for feedback about the applicants, we do not share the information that has been submitted in the application, we only ask for... feedback.

7- Why can't you add me directly? It is just an application!
While the app could be considered just an application, the whole process is not. Remember: we are not just looking to recruit or fill our guild, we are hosting an event. Even though details on Stages 3, 4 and 5 have not been shared yet (we want it to be a nice and fun surprise to those who make it up there), you must understand that those three stages involve your skills, your playing style, your interaction with guild members/people outside of WarCry, and your PVP/PVE development. We will not recruit without looking at the applicants' abilities in all these areas.

8- I have submitted an application a few days ago. Do I have to do something else?
Not at the moment. We will contact you when we have a desision on your application.

9- When are desisions on aplications going to be communicated?
We will receive aplications until Aug 7th. After that, we will take 2 days to analyze the applications (between all Guild Admins). We will filter the first applications after that, so you might receive a bad new there :/
If you were not filtered at that point, it means you went through Stage 1. So we will proceed to ask feedback about you, and we will filter a few more apps after that.
Those applications that go through the profile/feedback stages, will be contacted personally by an Admin in game, to coordinate time availability to participate of the events in Stage 3 and 4. We will filter a few more apps after the events are through. Inmediately after that, those who are still in the process will participate in Stage 5. This should be really quick, no more than 2 days. Once all this is through, we will communicate the final recruits.

seconded~. WC isnt about the amount of +9's u have. if that were true, we'd recruit every single shiny person out there. WarCry recruits based off of personality, loyalty, friendship, etc. Note our signatures :)
