At least the few moments in closed beta we had, we're magically wonderful.

I hope we will get about 1 week or so, before the forums are completely removed aswell, so everyone can bid their farewells.

Oh well. Hopefully another publisher picks it up. I'll check for that once in a blue moon I guess. Til then, there are better games comin. Can't say I'm surprised though. Everything EA touches dies.

I tried Audition Online but it sucks compared to this.

I even google'ed looking for a private server (gasp, i know) of DGO or Debute! No luck. *cries*

Maybe he made the announcement too early or he got wrong\inaccurate information about DGOs future o.o

If we're lucky it will be quiet the contrary and DGO will go into Open Beta :D

I mean, there aren't any other announcements yet, which say that DGO is definitively closed. (Yaya, i know i'm way too positive qq)

I'm not sure why the announcement was removed, more than likely because this section is not supposed to be posted in, but I'll look into it. If that's the case I'll more than likely be closing the active threads here in the future.

I hope so too, to be honest.
I don't even know why EA's financial support is so urgently needed for DGO to be developed o.o
I mean J2M is the developer of Debut Online and DGO, Outspark does the english translation stuff and normally buys the content (modes\clothes etc.) from J2M(just like they do it on their other games), so what we get is an english version of Debut Online which is financed by OutSpark buying the content and doing all the translation work. I just don't get why EA is needed in all of this, except for pasting their ugly logo onto everything.

That Dance Move motion capturing they did is not really neccessary anyway, since also j2M does them for the korean version and we can simply take their moves to our version aswell.
Lets just hope that the announcement of SKING was some kind of missunderstanding and that there might be a little hope for things to turn out differently, or that we get at least some kind of "real" confirmation about what is going to happen with DGO, without the announcement being removed again o.o

I also wonder why my post and Shadowic2's post were edited by a User called "CSR_Circe" without giving much of a reason o.o
Maybe this announcement was really just an accident.

Man all we can hope for is that sometime in the distant future, the rights to the game will be passed to another dev :(

On a brighter note,.....well there really isn't one except I think there's another rhythm game similar to DGO is entering beta sometime(in korea i think).

You have Audition 2 going into beta from what I've heard and then you have Nurien (which is never going to come to the US) just to name a few of the music MMOs I know of that are coming or out right now.

Oh well, kinda figured EA will botch this over big time.....then again, they always screw their non-sport games over.

When i first played DGO, i only saw the beginning screen and i thought, this game will be the best mmo out here. And now its closed.. and it makes me sad.. ive played with alot of fun! I made good friends out there. and It just connected us like 1 family. we all had fun....

i really hope it will be taken over to another publisher. it will be a waste to just let DGO dissapear .. rite?
