Introduction
This round of the Forum MVP will get you in touch with your inner muse!

Objective
Strange melodies have been heard all around Xen. Xenians have been whistling tunes they have never heard before and hearing strange songs on the wind. What is this musical madness that is slowly consuming the land of Xen? With all of this music in the air, how about creating your own song!?

How to enter:
1) Pick a song (with an appropriate video and lyrics)
2) Using the song you picked, create Solstice related lyrics.
3) For this event only, you can post a Youtube link to the song you are using. With your entry, please include the lyrics you have created for the song.

Rules:
*There are no limitations on the song & video, except that they must be clean and appropriate.
*You can enter twice.

Prize
There will be first, second, and third place winners. All three winners will receive a Forum MVP badge.:
1st place: Dragon Lucky Ball (Ohhh!)

But what if someone were to sing their edited lyrics over an instrumental version of the song (like pooch suggested), and make one of those nooby YouTube videos that consist of nothing but a plain flat color background and the song lyrics and post that instead? Is that fine, or do we still have to post a link to the original song?

I ask, because while the song I've chosen has clean and appropriate lyrics, the official music video has quite a lot of questionable content in it, which is why I wouldn't want to post it. (Unless posting a link to a nooby lyrics-only YouTube video of the original song is acceptable as a substiute :3)

This was by far the best Forum MVP ever, and I have seen many Fiesta MVPs and every Solstice MVP. I was actually laughing out loud because of some entires. People in the office were wondering if I finally went crazy. Amazing job all around. This MVP was no simple task and you all blew it out of the water. Special props to those who sang their lyrics and posted them on Youtube. No shame! I love it.

Honorable Mentions (in no particular order):

timiinator - I will have that song stuck in my head for days and days now. Thanks -_- Simple yet effective! Sega music FTW!
nguyen11 - Your Solstice version of "Billionaire" was masterful and your "Soul Sister" version was hilarious!
abbaboy - Both your entires were amazingly awesome. Thank you so much for taking the chance and singing, great job! That Fey song was a great choice!

Now for the places. Three songs really stood out; it was super difficult to pick one winner...

3rd place goes to...
guustaff's version of "Canadian, Please" - I had never heard this song before, your version and the original had me on the floor! I really enjoyed your lyrics and the inclusion of Windslayer and Fiesta. Awesome job!

2nd and 1st were super difficult to pick. I loved malia_montenegro singing her well picked lyrics about chat spam *shakes fist at the chat box*. I also loved deoxys114's conversion of Bleach into what I can only describe as the most up beat theme song for a video game, ever.

I can tell both entrants put a lot of time and effort into their lyrics.

Ehehe. 2nd place, I don't mind. :3 I wanted to do a challenge, and use a song from an anime, and the first song that came to mind was the Bleach song. My next entry, which I never got to, was going to be either Fireflies by Owl City, or The Faster The Treadmill by I Fight Dragons.
