This is so sad q__Q

Just wanted to say that you did an incredible job at the Closed Beta!
The Songs, those ingame Events to dance with Game Masters and the CB Forum times, seriously there couldn't have EVER been a better start for an online game.
Too bad it had to end this way but i guess it was inevitable due to the given circumstances.

Development of Dance Groove Online has ended so Outspark will be suspending the game service as of today. Although we cannot change DGO's discontinued status, we'd like to help encourage your progress in Fiesta, a popular title from Outspark. All previous DGO players will receive an email from Outspark with an in-game bonus for Fiesta.Thanks for you support of DGO. We look forward to your continued play in other Outspark games.

So does this mean the picture of DanceGrove will leave the Outspark background?
Will it be replaced with another possible Outspark title such as Divine Souls or Fist of Fu?
What if people do not want an in game bonus for Fiesta? Can they get it in other games?

And I was so very much looking forward to playing this game. :( Oh well... the in-game item for Fiesta will help distract me from the pain I suppose T_T

I was thinking the exact same thing. I don't care for Fiesta in-game bonus. What about people who play other games and NOT Fiesta? Like the Project powder people? Or the Windslayer people? Or even those Secret of the solstice people?

Every one should be entitled to get an in-game bonus on at least 1 other Outspark game.
And not be subjected to only Fiesta.

1. What are the odds that the rights to DGO will be sold to another developer?
2. Fiesta is bad. What about some bonuses for the Divine Souls players? :D

It may be trolling but it still brings up a valid message within it. Not everyone is going to take this kind of news like it's not such a big deal and you expect that a few cash points for exclusive use of one game will appease them? If so, this company is more gullible than I thought.

Although Outspark isn't to blame for this, it's ironic to think that a partnership with EA would bring about any good.....hell, EA is one of the most unorganized companies out there and the only thing they can get right is their "rinse 'n repeat" sports games so this kind of bs from them is to be expected. Oh well, here's hoping a more competent developer or the original developers will somehow bring the game over.

Now I need to decide what to do with this Fiesta code.....I have no intentions on playing since I got too many of the same generic mmorpgs on my system as is. Gawd EA pisses me off with this crap......

I received my code, even though I don't play Fiesta anymore but I also have no idea what to do with it. I tried the redeem sc card thing but it has a character limit so the full code cannot be entered. Too bad about DGO, it was the first dance game besides DDR and Stepmania that I really got into. :( Hopefully it will be hosted on another site in the near future.

Lol true. I quit fiesta.. EA might be unorganized but they do have one good franchise thats not exactly a sport that would be the Battlefield franchise, if you ask me it's addictive and i wouldn't be surprised if DGO got sold to another developer. Not to mention Raycity hasn't been as good ever since EA took over J2MSoft

Oh goodness i can't believe this Q_Q
DGO was the perfect dancing game,
i really liked the options to change ur height/size or uploading 'photos'.
The community was awesome, the whole game was too awesome.
I hope one day DGO will come back.. It was too perfect v_v.

It actually took a bit of digging to find this thread, geez Outspark. This didn't even show up on google when I google'd for results; had to dig through Outspark's own website for the info. (as in it didn't show up in the mainstream MMORPG sites)

DGO was one of the most innovative games that could've reached the generic-swamped MMO market. Best chance now is that someone else buys off the remnants and continues to develop it.

Closing this as there has been ample time for everyone to read and discuss this announcement.

These forums are no longer available for discussion, any new threads or older threads that have been bumped up will be closed. Since the game is now a Non-Outspark game, any threads that may pop up in other sections will be closed as well.
