Today I was looking at the shops at Smith NPC in Elderine, I right-clicked on the level 50 Crossbow by accident, and I kissed 66s goodbye...worst part is I don't even have an Archer
Anyone else think the NPCs shop interface is really **** for not having confirmation and stuff, and things can be bought as simple (dangerous) as right-click?
I think they should make buying from shops only doable by clicking on a 'Buy' button, or at the very last give a option for confirmation for buying...

Yep...that would be unlucky little me. Got a feeling this Bow gonna take up my shop space for a long time...
I'm dumping majority of my cash into storage from now on, until they decide to fix the retard buying interface.

Why would you right-click a bow in a shop to begin with? Doesn't sound like misclick as you described it...
My problem is more than I right-click an item in a shop but due to lag I can't buy it. I click and click and click and suddenly I bought 4. xD

I've done stuff like that. It's actually pretty easy: you move your mouse over, either out of curiosity or just to get to to another location, then put a little too much pressure on your hand at the wrong time (or worse, you're half tired). Some mice have VERY sensitive buttons making it VERY easy to click when you don't want to.
A second step (that confirmation that SOMETIMES show up when you sell something would work) would do the trick. To make it faster to buy, just allow the Enter key to confirm the choice along with the mouseclick. Blah, just requiring a doubleclick instead of single is enough (if you're accidentaly doubleclicking randomly you're probably getting into alot more trouble than just buying equipment you don't need, or just need to get yourself into bed ;)).

Actually, you are forgetting that right-click is for moving camera angle as well. Bad-timing is all it takes to mis-click on shop item...

I guess it can happen. Although I only need to move the camera angle when I'm moving myself and I don't move when I'm browsing a shop. o.o

Lol, if you sell an Item, a confirmation box appears, but if you buy one, they dont pop.
Oh the humanity. D: *slashes e-wrist*

A confirmation box would be the best solution similar to when you throw an item away.
I agree that there does need to be some kind of safeguard put in place.
Buying skills is a real pain too because it is so easy to buy duplicates and it is really difficult to sell those.
Same solution, a confirmation box, then you have no one else to blame but yourself if you purchase something that is of no use to you.
Just my opinion.

I wouldn't mind a confirmation pop-up on buying weapons/jewelry. It happens when selling them so why not when buying? It couldn't hurt and if anyone decided to complain about the extra 1 second they spend pressing "ok"...well I don't have anything to say to them...

NOT always. Some items don't bring the confirmation box. In fact, it seems to show up mostly for equipment and some sellable quest items. You can sell a whole pack of 50 SBLs for 3c each with one ctrl-click.

In my opinion, it should be an alert box pop out to let u comfirm buy or sell ur items. When selling other items, it also should have a box to ask u how many items u wana sell.
