Ragnarok? Anyone played before?

So just wondering, since SoS really reminds of a RO some. How many of you guys played it before and are playing for the same feel as RO? :O I'd be playing RO if it wasnt that it's really old, dying, and seemed to have lost it's touch?

I played 5 years RO straight, but now I know all the stats of all mobs in RO out of my head already, so switching to SoS for a while seems reasonable. =)

They built sos off of the Ragnarok engine.
They are going to look similar. In my opinion sos is a better game.
I only played RO briefly but enjoyed my CB experience much more.:eek:

i played RO too for more than a year... im from sakkray too... anyways; well yeh this game reminds me of that game.. did u guys know that they have another new char... more like a trancendant or something i've read it somewhere... but not really sure... yeh i think SoS is better too..

played the legit RO since it was first launched.... then stopped after 2 years for like a couple of years and then played on a private server for 2 years before quitting and moving on to sos

i was on skaray too, yeah it's lost it's edge, this game feels like RO a little, but RO was better, and still maanges to be better at times...

Played RO for about 4 years. And IMO, it's the best 2D MMORPG ever existed. I played RO for too long, so I decided to try some new games like SoS (I'm a 2D fan), which is not that bad. Currently waiting for 3rd classes in RO. Once it releases, I'm coming back to try out Ranger. :D

I played RO for 5 years also. RO gets hella boring after a while. Tons of people are leaving the game. And tons of people are just logging on for WoE. RO is deffinetly losing it's edge. And of course it's gonna be better than SoS. It's pay to play. They get a crapload of money.

but after the 4e server straight that died on me and my friends, we got fed up with it.
so i'm downloading SoS right now, i hope it will be good enough to get my friends to play.

i have nothing against ro btw, its is the only game that kept me playing for 4 years straight, so i love it ;)
i hope this will be a pleasant surprise

Lol you guys still didn't notice that this thread is almost a year old from before OB opened and at that time everyone was spaming how SoS is using RO engine. I still doubt that's true, it's trying to be an exact copy of RO, but it fails at that and also most likely doesn't use the RO engine.

played Ro back when there were only priests and etc. and 99 was the highest lvl.. anyone remember? o.0

I played RO for 3 years and I was on the sakray server also. I got tired of it.. it was just an old game and it did lose it's touch... I also go tired of DB's everywhere, I couldnt even lvl because of it. This game does remind me of RO alittle but I like SoS better.
