Well, I guess soon it'll be official, if the launch time was based on my time zone right now it the Open Beta would be released in under the next fifteen minutes. In this case, if it is released precisely in December, just hafta wait til' 3am.

Before anyone else posts, go to the other one and click edit. Click delete. If it doesn't work, go to advanced and you will find an option to delete the tread. Simple really.



Also, no one said the game would come out the 1st of December, and since a gm said they would announce the date some time before the game got launched,

Yeh, stupid moi. I figure most work is always done on a BUSINESS day. Sometimes, optional work is done on a weekend, but only if it's absolutely necessary. The company's ok. If they have to do a month's work of editing instead of +/- 15 days, that's fine with me. Whenever the release is made, I'll be excited to see how much quality, the Outspark staff has put into the game once it's released to everyone else.

I'm not crushed at all. I kind of expected this thing to happen, just like the experience I had in waiting for fiesta to go Open Beta. Precision isn't always everything, but in the end, the wait will be well worth it ^_^.

In the mean time, I'm gonna Fiesta and 'Scape.

Hello everyone!

I want to let you know that we, the Outspark team, are working hard day and night to get Secret of the Solstice Open Beta to you all as soon as possible.



Right now we are preparing for Open Beta and should have it ready for you sooner than you think. I hope to see you all return as there will be more depth and new features that awaits in Secret of the Solstice.



Break said "next month" i.e December.
for me this doesn't mean "the start of next month" ie 1st
or "in exactly one month" ie 15th

so all we know is that is will be sometime in December.

then Rider said they will post with "will be annouonced days before " so that indicates that it is not in the next few days as we haven’t had a notice.

and they said "sooner then you think" which doesn't say anything, except it’ll be sooner then people think (and many people were talking about 15th-25th dec)


there has not been any concrete answer,(they probably don’t even know themselves when they’ll have it ready)

my guess is they’ll release it as soon as they have everything ready, this depends on the bugs etc.
sometime in December.

Until we have more information (posted from a GM, not a member) we’ll just have to wait.

have you tried Tales of Pirates...? ToP is way better than Fiesta. Well that is just my opinion though.

i was just thinking randomly and i thought about the name of SoS and it has Solstice in the name....now dont go and call me stupid for thinking this but I wonder if they are going to release it on the day before the solstice date (considering the day of the solstice is on the weekend and the gm's arent here) which would be on the 21. If not then, they might do it on the 20 so they could monitor how it does for the next day...but then again, that is also just another opinion. If it were me, I would probably do that. So anyone thinking I'm retarded (I know there is someone reading this that thinks so) dont go replying to this with a long insult, please.

Intresting fact: The Mayan calender ends on December 12, 2012 which also happens to be the Solstice. Some people (not me, my brother though) believe that on that day the universe will be flushed like some kind of cosmic toilet bowl and existence as we know it will cease to....well........exist.:eek:

Anyway you should start believing your brother, for there are several other prophecies which refer to 2012 as the end of the world :D

my teacher showed us this video that he got from somewhere (he said to keep this info kinda secret, but who cares what he said) and it was about the next ice age. the date they mentioned was with in the next ten years, so i figured that was the date (the one from the mayan calender thing). it said that they want to keep it secret because it should reduce the worlds population drastically so it will be less crowded and prevent further polution (you know what i mean) and when that happens, if this information is given out to too many ppl, then all the stores and supplies needed to survive will be all out and scarce; therefore the greatest case of world hunger will take place. so then there will be an extremely low population of survivors, if any at all. you will understand what i mean if you saw the diagrams, graphs, ect he displayed on the vid. they had a lot of stuff to back it up. the guy explained that it will happen because of the drastic temperature change since some date in the past, the melting of the arctic, and the huge amounts of gases in the atmosphere or something like that...it happened before like hundreds of years ago when all these events happened the same way which triggered an immediate ice age, which in turn recovers the arctic glaciers;; burys the freezable gases(those werent the exact words he used but i cant remember the right ones; still means the same thing tho);; and reduces the population before we become too overpopulated. it buries the gases by making them so cold that it sinks slowly to the ground, most commonly in snow, and wen it touches the ground the gases seep into it wen the snow piles up high enough. another reason they said this most likely will happen has to do with something about the summer and the earth being...it was either the closest or the farthest...from or to the sun it has ever been since the last time an ice age was triggered this way (not certain on the date). so this will probably turn out to be like "the day after tomorrow" (if it happens). the scientists or watever you want to call them dont want to let the information pass around too much so they can be sure that there is still a proper amount of survivors left, as i explained earlier...i have a feeling im leaving out the most valuable piece of info in the entire video...hmmm if i remember more ill post it if anyone is interested in what im talking about...im sure noone has even taken the time to read all of this. BTW i didnt make this up, this is what i watched in enviromental science. noone has to believe me and im sure thers ppl thinking im full of sh*t, but i dont care. i just thought i would share. i personally do not fully believe it...i just thought it was sort of believable.

Well i supposed all the **** we did and are doing to the planet would have caused something really bad sooner or later (lol just think to greenhouse effect, which keeps increasing with an astonishing speed and which recently started scaring even the most optimist scientists), but to be honest, i never thought to a next imminent ice age :rolleyes: hehe i missed that :p

well anyway we can't do anything for that, and of course we can't think about it for the rest of our lives (oh yeah that would really suck..), so let's just wait without thinking and then we'll see what happens later :D
