Actually this is not off topic for the general SoS forum because it is about the game, albeit as a bit of fun. It's more related to SoS than threads about what other games to play and such like.
People could have had some fun with it, joining in with not necessarily serious hopes for the open beta, or they could have chosen to add more serious hopes if they so wished.
Instead they queue up to claim it is spam, which it is not, thus making themselves look like hypocrites for coming here just to spam the Give Me My 10 Seconds Of My Life Back button.
