I'm not good with this Forum Crud but here i go......
Well as most of u know about the Orange jewels in Fiesta. As rumors go and Facts most ppl know/heard that MD hardcore is a way to obtain these. So i wanna make a Team to Farm it.
i have a 46 fighter, soon to be 56. I'm bad at planning and stuff. I'm just giving a idea to someone to make a team. I would be like to be a part of it :) i have a 55+9 set/ axe+9. I'm a DD build. i wanna encourage someone to make a Hard Core Team. Anyone :3?

If I can use his fighter...he is all str, with a str dex +9 diminish set, and has demo maxed, and my set switching owns your mom. And maybe your dad too. But I Beta tested your brother.

I just finished +9 my spark set. I am gonna farm/find/buy a sun set and do the same thing, then im gonna destroy mdHC. I want to put a permanent character at this level too so I can plevel to 9x to farm the oranges there.

Also, if your clerics can, have them get a full Gabriel Set. Coupled with an empowered cd on revive, that's about 15 seconds cd. Which is half the original cd. :P

This is true, but my 60 Paladin only has around 860 defense, which isn't enough for MD's jump in hardcore.

Woah, wait a minute. Lemme just make sure I have everything right. (Btw, sorry for the double post but I'm a little confused atm lol)

You have 4 fighters, or tanks.
You have 3 clerics.
And you a have 1 mage. Possibly 2 or 3, based on the posts here.

Now from my understanding, you have a lot of tanks, and not much AoEers.
Now you have plenty of clerics for each and every fighter. Almost a 1:1 ratio. Plenty of clerics.

Fighters in my experience can only tank and use deva in this KQ. Deva is used most often for the stun. Although good at stunning and tanking, they are not good at attacking a huge mob of multiple targets at the same time.
Now with your 3 clerics, you're aiming to have more than 4 fighters, or tankers. In my experience, the cleric has had to heal constantly to keep their 1 tanker alive. My question is, how are the clerics going to keep all the fighters alive if more than one is getting hit by huge mobs? Chances are, they won't be able to keep up with the heals, chaos will ensue, and everyone will wind up dead.

I would like to suggest a new strategy aside from the one you're planning currently, at least from my perspective.
How about this:
For each party, there is 2 fighters, 1 cleric, 1 mage, and 1 archer.

"Fighter #1" will tank and grab as much aggro as possible using mock, demo, etc.

"Fighter #2" will stay near the cleric, mage and archer. This fighter will be the back-up man. If any monsters come towards the cleric, archer, or mage, the fighter mocks and kills the stray opponent.

"Cleric" will stay out of range and heal the tanker. No problems here.

"Mage" (Enchanter) will cast AoE's (assuming he/she is Enchanter) and quickly deal massive burst damage to the small mobs, all at the same time. This will be much faster than a fighter trying to kill them one-by-one.

"Archer" will cast poisons and such to the bosses and possibly kite a large mob for the Mage to cast his/her AoE on. Again, much faster killing of the huge mobs, or horde, as I shall call it.

With this in place, bosses will have huge damage coming their way, clerics will be kept safe and will only have to focus on healing 1 person, and they all win the KQ.


NOW, based on your stats, you need archers and mages. I have a mage at 5x, and I plan to put full points into CD and Damage on Nova and full CD on Chain Casting. This will allow me to spam Nova like there's no tomorrow. Plus, with vietree's tips, I can get a +9 wand possibly. We also have another mage that's close to Enchanter that has a +9 wand.
This will allow us to get rid of mobs extremely fast and allow us to deal huge damage to bosses without risking anyone's safety due to the clerics having to heal multiple targets at the same time. I know this will be especially hard with the Mini Dragon's AoE. From my experience, it took 2 clerics per fighter for every MD KQ that has ever succeeded.

I think this is a much better balance to the parties and will further solidify our chances at succeeding at this. I also think you might find me more useful as an Enchanter than a 5x cleric.

If you think this is a good idea or a bad one, please let me know and why. I just want to look out for everyone's success on this. It'd suck to do a lot of preparation only to fail.:D

Also, how many level 60 mages are around? It's difficult to ask a mage to not level once they get their primary AOE. This is why we only have one 60 mage so far that's available. Before 60, a mage can't really do much (no offense) in comparison to a fighter in the KQ. At least one 60 mage will be useful for MD's spawns near the end.

Each party should have 1 cleric, for the buffs.

We could use Palringo. It's a IM messenger and you can load comments from however far back you go. We could go on there and say this and that without having to use roars, etc. Plus you could set your status as the scheduled time for MD Hardcore.

I think that's the best option we have without getting too private. I don't think a lot of people want to give away personal info and stuff.

Also, about all around the world. If there's a Korean version, japanese version, etc etc. Most of the people on Cypion should live in the US. The majority of people that are not in the US happen to be in Mexico and the Netherlands. I gotta say, I see a lot of bilingual Netherlanders around Cypion. As for the people I think that are in Mexico, actually could just be US residents that prefer to use their original language. One of the two. But still, I don't think it's that big of an issue atm. Take a poll around the recruits and check to see who's from where.

if i'm around, roaring is fine, or whispering, lol - i'm never doing anything other than gathering or productions when i'm there lately, so everything is easy to drop and run - you have me on your facebook too, you can always post on my wall there, that way if i'm not at the computer my blackberry will vibrate at me, which is always a good thing, even if it means i have to reply to say "noooooo, i'm working" or something, lol

Windows Live Messenger (MSN) is what I use. Probably the best way is to have all of the characters going into MD be in my guild. We do get warred a lot anyway, which would cause problems with outside clerics.

We assign 2 group leaders (their usually the party leaders). It's kinda like a mini HG raid xD. We got a tanking party up front, which usually consists of 3 tankers (need about 3 to hold MD cause it constantly fears) ,1 60 cleric for the party heal, and a random lol (usually archer lol, sorry archers :/). Party number 2 is our AOE party (mob party). Usually has about 2 60 mages that can spam frost nova on MD, and take care of mobs when necessary. Most of the time we have a couple archers in the AoE party. They aren't really needed tho :S

sure, but t3 scrolls really helps. whenever i go out and do a quest, i always scroll up. without scrolls, if i take more than 3 hits i'd be dead. the only problem that i find as soloing as a mage is that we gotta kill 'em one by one. so i'll send you a f/r whenever i'm on.

Yeah T3 scrolls do help, but since I spent a ton of cash, and keep spending a ton of cash, on stone production, I just keep enough silver around for a restone.

Also, I'll see how high I can get my fighter today. If I keep my concentration, I should be able to get him to 35 in an hour or two. Daft Punk helps in situations like these.

Devastate: CD and Dura
Already empowered CD and Damage on Slice and Dice.
And I was thinking about empowering Dura on Toughness, but then I noticed the dura was bugged after putting 3 points into it. x.x
Anyway, what should I do with remaining points?

They might have gotten rid of stacking to replace it with bigger STR for fighters. I've noticed a severe nerf in my fighter as well, and he's only a 2x tank.

Who knows? They haven't announced any of this to any of us. We shall see how this whole thing goes down.

My guess is that they don't want to lose a massive amount of players. A lot of people have voiced their plans if they don't balance it out.

Well if i dont rem wrong my mdmg was like 5k with lvl 60+10 goc wand and 10% dmg skin, also gt dmg neck t2 con scroll and lvl 60 rama 70% my def was 1.6k and uhmm well full crit set around 52% on crit (10%wand 5% skin 5% mask 8% angel helm 8% tiger suit 7% devil wings 5% on blue boots 2% crit on the earrings i was using) adds werent a prob they died easy... when i was feared cleric kept attackign so it didnt regen, and i casted aoes while she tanking till she get feared we did like that most of the time...

I understand hard to believe without proof, because i thought wasnt possible to duo (However i have no idea if anyone has done before, thats why i asked if it was something to be proud of)

Dun really have a reason to lie all i ask is , with all the details i gave u of my char above (also was a sun set full empowered MB).... Itd be nice to have a ss with me to proof, but i still feel proud of doing it anyway xD if helps at all im iHotBrother, used to be quite known in server kinda got lost after name change and stuff, however i remember you alot eric ^^

Anyway i swear one day ill remake my mage and use same gear and sc to try do md hardcore again, and unless i was superlucky with crits, i dont see why it wouldnt be possible :x

Erm, don't get your hopes up, but they haven't gotten any orange drops yet.

As for 56, if you do all your quests right, you could get to 60 within a week by doing reps and saving quests for levels that don't have reps. Also get an archer or an enchanter to help with AoEs. Quests go real fast with some pro help.:D

I'm cleaning my condo most of the day and I'm leveling my Pot making while I do that. I should hit T5 by 3 oclock or so. I Beat MDHC yesterday twice with rugnicon and a rag tag group of noobs. didn't have a PickAxe. But my award Box gave me a +6 70 Statless wand.
we destroyed alot of the mobs though. I wonder if the coding has a trigger system on the dice roll function like most rpgs. So if we kill all the mobs our drops increase.

I have a question, i asume you guys/girls have at least tried MD HC, has there been any luck in getting anything? I've tried it with my fighter and my friend a while ago, we didnt't really have the best team but we managed to beat it, but we got nothing from it. Also it's not that the monsters deal twice as much dmg. it's that they attack twice as fast making a clerics job much harder.

the reason mages complain is because not all of them can conjure up sc when they want some of them play 100% free and its really hard being one of those mages you said your +9 top and bottom shouldnt be so hard for you and you got a +10 wand so yea thats why people complain mages cant win unless they at least have a +9 wand

yes, archers are all about not getting hit, but not through gears/stats - archers have a high dex built in without doing anything, and it's more about outrunning your mobs, than them missing you - in the upper levels, it matters not what your dex is, when 50 things are being kited, if you stop, even if only 5 of those 50 manage a hit, without any end, you're dead.

bear in mind all my gears were unenhanced too, i found end to be invaluable, and i used a lot less pots, and restoned a lot less compared to my bretherin who were dex or str

Me too. I tend to switch between bow and xbow a lot during pvp tho :c So sometimes I get these cool glitches which get me killed. Epic screenies of me back flipping through the air with an axe buried in my butt and a bow and an xbow in either hand.

:c what did you think I meant? The only time an archer should be getting hit is pvp and I guess bow boss farming. And again, in pvp, 400 def and 2k hp won't mean you don't get dropped in one stun. I'd rather just pump dex, str and spr and hope for the best.

Course each to his/her own. I've known several successful end-based archers, many of which went on to become legends. I even knew a few int-based archers. They did wonders before the DoT patch. Then they were kinda ticked off >.<

The cleric job change is the only one I've ever really been stressed in. Fighter and Archer are so easy, never had a high level mage. But I love Spider KQ, I've been missing it ha. Can't wait to do KKP again, but I need to catch up to my partner fast. x.x Blah blah ramble ramble.
