Is cleric for me?

Hey guys i'm pretty new to fiesta and im seeking some advice.

I have a lvl 12 mage and am having great fun with him, but people on the forums are saying that unless you have a Ton of pots, once you get higher you cant solo.

How true is this and what would be a good alternative.

Also i like doing damage more than healing.

I don't really know the experience of a mage; so i'm not sure about how mages can't solo. All you have to do is grind at the right spot that you can kill before it comes to you. If you prefer to do damage instead of 'spam' healing- then you should be a fighter/mage. But if you want to do both- then yes cleric is what you would want.

But's really up to you.

I was thinking of fighter because they dont die alot and i like that but i think they are expected to tank. I like nuking lol.

Also i dont really like healing that much...and how do u get to pvp?

Tere is no pvp; there's only gvg based on what I know.
