What class?

Hey guys I have a lvl 12 mage but after reading these forums im having second thoughts on what i want to be.

What I want to be doing is primarily damage and Ive been having a ton of fun doing so on my mage. BUT people have been talking abut how they use hp stones every fight and suck in pvp, cant solo, etc.

What do you think would be best for me?

Well it really depends on what you like but basically it goes like this:

Fighter : Tank - Takes the hits as well as dealing some good dmg back
Mage: Nuker - Massive dmg .... from afar
Cleric: Healer - ...Heals
Archer: 2ndry Dmg - Poisons as well as dealing some pretty solid dmg

As for soloing with a mage ... not completely out of the question but difficult pot/stone wise.

Using good combo's (skills on after the other) can also help, also knowing where empowerment points go helps.

I believe PvPing with a mage is beautiful. Soloing and PvEing may be a little hard, but I think that as a mage in PvP you would pwn. Of course, that depends on your playing.
Mages, yes, are paper, but a lot of the mages I've seen kill their targets pretty quickly before they die or have to use a HP stone. If you party with a cleric, it's also pretty easy.

If you want to be primarily doing damage, go mage. They are still the most powerful with a lot of skills. If you love being a mage, just ignore whatever people say and stick with one. They'll see when they get pwned by you ;D
