Sorry for stupid question but the cleric skills that buff a party like resist, can I use it on myself even when i'm not in a party? Because I don't like parties so much Just created a new cleric and I want to solo for the first levels. So does buff work alone on yourself?:D Plz reply fast!

Party buffs you created always stays with you as long as it is still in effect. But, let me remind you that the extra bonus you get for each partymember within radius is eliminated as well.

Thx for the info but what I meant was if you could use the party buffs on yourself even without any party at all. Or I didn't quite understand what you were saying? Sorry lol but I jsut want to use a buff alone on myself cuz it sounds cool :D Oh wait so you mean when I buffed the party while in a party and I quit it will stay on me?

Protect and Resist need no party to benefit you, but their benefits increase for every extra member, which is nice for when you do party.

To answer, yes. These buffs work alone on yourself. The only difference is you don't get the bonuses that come with grouping in these spells. For example the attack/magic resist buff goes up to 40% additional dmg when grouped with 3 people if memory serves right.

Essentially the buffs work alone or with a party. The only advantage of party is the increased effectiveness by grouping.

Ah ok thx a lot that helped me! So my buffs will be useful on myself in the dungeon of shadows when i'm 20?

To make my first sentence simple: A cleric can apply all buffs on him/herself, except Revive and Sacrifce, without needing a party. The first two buffs gets stronger with each partymember being within radius.

ok thx for that sentence. But can I use my buffs freely on myself when I enter the dungeon of shadows when doing my class adv quest? Or will buffs be cancelled there and only scrolls work?

You can use them. People have gone in with HP/SP buffs, so I don't see why the other buffs wouldn't work.

Aye, I for example went in with Endure in SD. XD

Yes, you can go in with Protect and Resist active, along with whatever scrolls you use.

Also, if you are lucky enough, a 47+ Cleric may bless you with Endure (Raise Max Hp/Sp), but that really isn't necessary.

I did the quest as soon as I could, and got by with a sheild scroll, a power scroll, and full selection of my own skills and equipment. (not enhanced but as high equipped as I could be)

I didn't even use the weapon/armor glitch, and it was way easy for me (I used a couple Sp stones, but whatever...)

Of course, some people just aren't as lucky as me, maybe the server was being nice when I did it, so to each his/her own.
