Ever gotten bored and written a fanfic? Ever gotten bored and written a fanfic at 4am, based from your girlfriends point of view? Ever then show it two her and she then decides to write the same story, from your proscriptive? If so, you'll feel right at home. XD Sort of a pointless Fanfic[s] but, she asked me to post them..So yeah...Here goes nuffin'. Don't expect anything great =P
[Her perspective]
It was a fine spring day, not to hot not to warm and I deiced to take a stroll out side the guard's patrol or Uruga, just down the main steps, through they beautiful tree's who were just regaining their vigor from the cold clutches of winter. Now you may think it's foolish for an archer to wander alone in an orc infested area, full of places to hide and traps to be hidden, but I was no fool. I was well trained with my bow and could easily take out a small back of the scoundrels. Plus, in recent months do to all the new warriors and mages and clerics and scouts emerging, the orc population was devastated, so why not? As I walked through the woods, remaking at nature's pure beauty, I heard something, some faint sound..Like a scream..I readied my bow after a quick survey of the poison veils I had stocked up, and ran towards the sound, fearing someones life in danger. When I made it into the small clearing, my heart almost stopped. There were two younger ones, a fighter and a cleric. They had been ambushed by a very large pack of orcs when exploring most likely, the cleric was chanting every blessing she had ever heard, currently begin hacked at by the marauding orcs, only her armour saving her from a sure death, and the fighter was slumped against a near by tree, bleeding heavily. I had no time to think of my own safety, without any hesitation I grabbed my bow and called on all of nature, launching the Elf's trademark volley of poison arrows onto the lot and shouted quickly to the young explorer. “Take your friend and run, back to town RUN! Don't look back but call for help!” Without a word the cleric dashed to her comrade, picked him up and fled. I was feeling good, I saved the two young adventurers..Untill I realized what I had also done..By Teva's blessings the poison volley hit so hard it dazed and stunned most the orcs..But mostly..It just pissed them off, and I know had a horde of angry, poisoned, blood thirsty monsters running towards me, far out in front, their captain. I knew I couldn't out run them for long, and if I tried to run back to the dense woods and hide, I'd have no hope a rescue, and they orcs would most likely sniff me out, I was dead. So I did what any noble person would do..I unleashed a second volley and tried to plant and arrow between the captains eyes. I missed the only shot that could save my life, and this berzerking orc captain caught up to me within seconds, grabbed me and rammed his crudely made sword square between my breasts. Time slowed..It might as well have stopped..Everything moved by slowly..And I couldn't breath..I felt my heart stop..And my ears started ringing, blocking almost all sound.. I felt my mouth fill with blood, I felt the warm salty contents slowly trickle out and down my lips, I heard the captain scream in delight and the thundering foot steps of his horde catching up..I was dead..Or would be in a matter of seconds..All I could do was look around and remark to myself on how beautiful of a place do die it was..And then..Something caught my eye, the familiar glint of a hardened yellow steel, followed by the most barbaric and blood lusting yell you'd ever hear which hit me like a lightning bolt and brought me back to reality from the dazed plain I was in. I felt the orc captain's body go limp as I saw a flash dart at his neck, severing his head and sending a fountain of blood into the air, which rained down like a summer's fair drizzle, soaking me...And with that, another roar, a challenge this time, calling to the horde that just caught up. By now blood loss was truly affecting me and I weakly struggle to pry the sword from my chest, which hurt more than being stabbed itself, and while doing so, I watched the familiar figure of the axe-weilding man. Like a fool jumping into the middle the of these orcs, and with a powerful twist of the body and hand, unleashing a devastating to blow to all around, shaking and shattering the very earth, stunning all the orcs, killing one or two more hardily effected by my poisons. Clearly displeased with the low body count, the man spun around in a full circle, axe in tow, colliding with each weakened orc's torso, ripping them all in half and painting the beautiful clearing blood red. By now, from what little brute force I had I managed to push the orc captain's body away, dragging the sword with it..It was like being stabbed again, and blood poured forth as I slowly fell backwards..Slowly..But instead of crashing into the hard and unforgiving earth, I felt warm arms catch me and over take me, instantly in an embrace. I knew these arms well..Sturdy and muscular, honed by the killings of thousands of monsters who dare appose the man who owned them...So strong..Tools meant for killing..Yet they were holding me so tenderly, so gently..A true lover's embrace..And just as I started to drift off, from blood loss and comfort that familiar voice rang out. “Iris..To god woman how many times have I warned you about trekking this far! You could have been killed!” So harsh in words..But so soft, so concerned and worried in tone.. “I know..” Was all I could murmur out, to weak at this stage.. “Iris..If you won't be careful for me, if you won't be careful for yourself then atleast be careful for--” He was cut off as a guard patrol crashed into the opening, two armed men looking for any sign of orcish life and a cleric rushing to me. “ My god..” The cleric seemed amazed that I was still alive..I was amazed I was still alive..But never the less, we quickly patched me up, calling on all of his goddess Teva's powers..The one thing about clerics..They could replace blood, heal wounds, men bones..But they still left pain, soreness mostly, and boy, was a I sore, barely able to stand, but it was a long walk back, so I had to try..Which promptly caused me to fall. Though once again I was caught by those tender arms, and held tightly. “Iris..” My lover's soft voice once again reaching me. “Please..Let me help you walk or carry you or..” I was to weak to fight, to weak to argue, so I just nodded at the second suggestion, and without another word or any difficulty he picked me up. “You really need to be more careful..What if I had..” I knew where he was going with it..You'd never believe it, but this seemingly fearless man willing to throw his life away to a horde of orcs and one true fear. Losing me. Without a word, without a comment I just leaned in and gently kissed him on the lips, my silent way of telling him everything was fine..And for now..It was..
