I have found that I am always running out of sp stones and/or pots, and I have always wondered,"i wonder if higher lvl cerics have a skill that fills sp?"i checked, they ddnt:(....so i kept thinking about ways to tell outspark about my idea of a skill that fills sp,and of course i immeidiately thought of the forums.

ive thought of names for this suggested skill, and ive came up with one that i think is good.

The name is......Charge.

I thought this was a name that fit it,i dont have any exect reason, but i do tink it fits the skill well.

Now,I know that if there were any clerics reading this, they might say,"Healing is already tedious because fighters constantly tell us,HEAL,HEAL,HEAL!!!!!!So what makes you think another skill to cause us ache and pain in our fingers from constant key pressing will make anything any better?"What i think is,that healing isnt hard(im more a fighter person since i have a lvl 46 fighter,my highest lvl char so far),and i kno from experience,i have a cleric, lvl 28(i kno thats a noob-like lvl),its only hard on you when ur healing a fighter who is fighting a boss(and i find healing fun).so thats my thought on a new cleric skill:)

Please give me constructive critisism(no offenssive comments,or anything of that nature)If i have flaws in my thought on the skill,PLEASE TELL ME....My characters are all on Apoline(love dis server).....fighter:lvl 46 renuo,cleric:lvl 28 roxxa,mage:lvl 18 namoraxa,archer:lvl 15 andonuo

AND,if u are with me on this, post the word Charge(it can be along with other stuff in ur post)

Well, if they did this, why would clerics need stones?

Thing is, Mages have a similar skill, and they need it more than Clerics do. I forget the name of the skill, but they can cash HP to fill out their SP. If you want to get technical, it's the opposite of what Clerics do: we give up SP to recover HP. Mages can do that already.

And at Level 28, if you're running out of stones, something's wrong. I have NEVER--not once--run out of SP stones, and I've got more SP pots than I know what to do with.

Rest frequently; re-stone frequently; use pots when you can; and stone count should never be a problem. Clerics need a Charge skill like a moose needs a hat rack, in my opinion.

I know your heart's in the right place, but it's just not something we need, nor something I would want. Our focus is on health bars. Red lines, red lines, red lines. Blue lines aren't our concern, except for our own, nor should they be.

Keeping a full party alive when everyone is taking damage is plenty hard. Going through Henneth KQ, the level 90 KQ, with a party of three mages and an archer? -.- Or being the sole cleric in the DT dungeon when the party reaches Cornelius? _._ Please don't tell me healing is easy. It's simply not true.

The best constructive criticism I can give, and honestly I'm not saying this to be mean or sarcastic, is that you should take your cleric much, much higher in level, play it in many different types of situations, not just with a fighter partner for bosses, and then think about what cleric skills are important and what we really need.

Oh no please don't! That would make all the 'heal my sp!' jokes pointless!!!!!!

Pfffft, roflol! I have actually almost said that a couple of times...XD

Back to topic:

The skill that mages use is called Life Tap. The only uses:
1) Faster suicidal tendencies OR
2) Saving a ton of SP stones and cash

The thing is, a cleric's heal can give 500 Hp for around 30 SP. EXTREMELY efficient.

However, a mage's life tap only gives 100 SP for around 150 HP. not exactly efficient in the least, this is why it's only used when a cleric is in the pt.

Also, another thing, if clerics DID have the "charge" skill, it would almost be cheating. You could just go on forever, not even requiring to stock up on stones, or even pots for that matter.
I mean, in other game consoles, cheats are created for this kind of stuff. I mean, it's a good intention, but it's just not realistic.

Plus, like another person said, clerics at higher levels are healing constantly to keep their pt alive. Not an easy task.

Now please don't take my analogy to cheats on other console's wrong; it's the right intent, but it already has a fix. Due to being the backbone of parties, clerics are given an un-godly amount of stones. This is already the solution.

Just keep your wallet full, and stay stoned. (Not as in drugs, lmao)
You should be well off doing this.

It doesn't make sense...ever since I've been playing a cleric, I never ran out of SP stones. Currently I'm lvl 73 & can hold 250+ or so SP stones, so I have even LESS of a chance to run out. And in the super SUPER rare cases that I do, I have a whole inventory page stocked full of HP & SP potions...just in case. How do I get so many pots? I raid the abyss for drops practically every day. I'm not lucky enough to have a character than can make pots -.-; Or decomp to high lvls yet.

The only suggestion I have is to not run low on money. Sell whatever unused mats to user shops (not NPC shops) in town, you'll make a lot of money that way.

Also, use SP stones only when you're close to running out of SP.. when I try to use them when my SP isn't even half way down, I'm just wasting most of the stone ._.; Same goes for Pots.

If you are running out of SP stones, then you are doing it wrong. Once you get past the initial "low stones syndrome" that affects all classes in the first 20 or levels (mages never quite recover), you should have enough SP stones to handle basic grinding and partying. Perhaps you are using them inefficiently?

the reson i run outta stones is cuz im practically poor,if i really bought all i could,i would be invincible,i just never did.

And thank you all for your thoughts about this

Oh, so you were just broke this whole time XD Well, I hope the selling mats suggesting works for that.

You're that broke?

Do quests; sell drops; farm your production skills. Rinse and repeat.
