Hello,
Just wondering what's Sins' and SMs' gameplay like at higher levels.

For Solo-kills, do you all use skills such as Dustblade or Threaten, or do you use just use normal hits since attack speed has reached 0.1s? At even higher levels when Double Strike and Shock Troops become available, are attack skills rendered obsolete?

For AOE, are the dodges visibly significant, even at Rogue levels?

Thanks,
Roy

eeeh i should prolly let a sin or sm answer but these forums tend to be kinda dead nowadays.. anyway a neo/rogue/sin/sm at any lv have a great advantage in solo killing compared to other classes even with seemingly low dmg and in higher lvs you can boost your attack to rival any class dmg and still keep your speed so yes spam dustblade bindside keep enhancing works great even in high lvs for soloing...for double strike its not really practical for pve since this is a skill spam game poking becomes inferior by the time your a higher lv neo it can tho be very annoying in pvp tho when you wanna be annoying and mess with mages who HAVE to skill spam to retaliate xD. annnnnnny way this game is most fun in party's and as you lv you will notice xp really start to suck even when you solo so what do we do? aoe ! aoe is a as soon as you get an aoe kinda thing if you have the def you are better off aoeing espically if you prefer partys this is a grind game so yea you need to party or you will just be bored and the fastest way to lv partying is aoe.. and last but not least dodge is your class advantage your class isnt blessed with the highest tanking def but you compensate for this with dodge and skill speed so yes dodge is very important for aoeing or solo killing... always keep enhance if you arent enhanced you are just a squire with lower def and attack and hp.. and thats about all i got on the subject xD

edit
oh and as for shock troops when you have that skill this games content wont really require you to need it if you solo kill its not practical cd is to long and it dosnt last long enough. use that for when you want to kill the mob you gather when you aoe or pvp.

edit
one last thing i am by no means a high lv shadowmaster but i have known and partyed with alot of them in every lv all of that is based on solely from what i learned from partying with them and extensive pvp with them.

Hello. Thank you for your response Anime. ^^

Actually, the reason why I started this thread was because of all the Xenepic Online videos on Youtube. SMs and Warlords seem to be the most common, with Paladins assisting with heal and the such. SMs in Xenepic was attacking at a ridiculous speed, like 4 hits to 1 Warlord hit, so I'm wondering if it's a skill or normal hits. If they were normal attacks, then SMs seem to have a greater potential in terms of mp usage (and pure awesomeness). :D

I have a disciple, but I'm wondering if that's the most optimistic way forward. If Reborn is anything like Xenepic Online, then AOE would very much be non-existence (at least for the higher levels). The monsters easily hit 100 over. For DTHA, auto-genesis and all the HOT seem kind of useless. I think there are also some threads in the forum that says that the developer is looking into preventing map hogging for AOE and the sort (think it was mentioned by Wardomic; pardon me if I'm wrong. (x ).

Seeing how the Xenepic players working together to kill the Tigers and Dragons (not sure if it's available in SOS currently), there is no doubt that party would be a more appealing than solo-kills. Again, I'm assuming that SOS will become what the videos portray Xenepic Online to be.

Xenepic and solstice are vastly different, in playstyles and content. There are also skills xenepic has that we don't, such as that skill that hits 4 times. As for what reborn might become, we can only hope whatever it will be will be good.

Also the removing aoe thing, I don't believe I said they were actually planning on doing that, but the gms have said they'd like to move the game away from aoe. Please see picture for exact gm wording, and keep in mind it's an old picture.

Hello Wardormic; thank you for your response. :)

So what those SMs ("Shadow" in Xenepic's case) are doing is actually skill that hits four times? I thought that they were simply fast attacks, with the short interval due to the monster's attack. Thanks for clearing my doubts. ^^

So in conclusion, there could still be AOE, just that it would possibly be more difficult, or at least for only small mobs. Thanks for sharing the picture. x)

For the labybrinth, what exactly are the monsters like? Higher damage with higher HP? I havent been there myself, so I have yet to find out what is going on. ><
