You need to be level 20, and finish your job change quest. Once your done, you get a lv 20 1h, 2h, or axe for free just by completeing the quest.

its deffinitely true coz base n required lvl!!! before u can use 2h sword either lvl 20 or so!!! have a happy playing time:D

Yup, or if you either take a different weapon, or you break yours trying to enhance it, you go to weapon smith karls and buy another for 5 silver(or sumthin like that. been awhile since I checked the smith.) So, keep going at it, and eventually you'll hit lvl 20 and get your sword(if you pass the job advancement test, anyway :D)
