Are priests really needed?:confused:

Maybe I'm on too late but the times that I've been in a party I've had to go and kill on my own while in the party because who ever was killing was picking everything up. The second time I partied I got the Monkey King Crown as a reward, so I'm begining to wonder if a priest is really worth it.

Healing, sadly, is not useful in Windslayer as it is in most mmos... In PvE, the linear healing spells are pretty much useless because half the time you miss your target unless you tell them to sit still and let you spend 30 seconds healing them. It also costs a ton of mp to use heals >.<

In PvP, it's still not that useful unless it's the Bishop or Paladin's mass heal spell. Trying to hit your target is even harder in PvP than in PvE because standing still just isn't usually a good option.

Because of Windslayer putting almost no emphasis on team play/party play (especially with party exp gone), Priests aren't needed in parties. Priests don't even have buffs! With the exception of a few short-term buffs that are not useful at all. Every game I've ever played gives Priests some type of beneficial buffing skills.

My answer: No, Priests are not needed =/

Out of the 1000+ hours I trained with Funky I think I've been healed by him once ... and it wasn't for a lack of asking -_-

I would've appreciated some heals in Bat Cave and Underwater :(
