Get better proof of these "hacks", taking a video and uploading to youtube, and giving the link to csr can help. CSR will look into the matter and if they have sufficient evidence provided through tickets and their own investigation, punishments will happen. Please also keep in mind csr can not reveal what is done to players they confirm are doing something they shouldn't be.

One last note, are you sure it's hacks people are using, or bugs in the game, or are they doing something legal and you just don't like whatever they are doing, it's hard to say when all you have said is "hacks" not saying anything more specific.

The Hack is Benefit-ical. Only good comes'out of it.
It helps the community be active. More GB,PvP and mostly of them all... ULTM.
Though,as always. Most of teh community is still and always will be ..selfish.

It just goes against the ToS.
Players usin' it will just get Ban and possibly IP Ban(Meanin' : Any account you go on will automatic be ban within a week. - Just ask Woob).

As for players "tagging along" to leech.
I'm not sure.

After reviewing that video a couple times I can still claim it's lag, i'll be it bad lag that's only on her side, however it is very suspicious. Please send that video to CSR, and give an accurate time(Outspark's PST time) of when it took place, it would need to be investigated using tools only they have/can use.

I have more than enough experience with lag when it comes to Windslayer to know the possibilities. Anyways I DID agree it looks very suspicious, you need to give CSR accurate information in order for them to do anything. They need to know Character name, Map name, Channel, Time, etc... otherwise it can take a while for them to isolate the necessary information from their end to confirm what is happening in the video.

I HAVE played Windslayer before and know from personal experience enough lag can generate a similar effect to what's in those videos.

no, you give the illusion of that to other people. You see yourself traveling around the map, doing your thing while other people don't see that, but see you not traveling the full distance. It is possible. I'm not saying that's exactly what is happening in those videos tho, there is something strange as normally damage would show up here and there regardless of lag.

I gave my own input based on my own experiences with windslayer but at the same time agreed that there are things that need to be looked into. Only CSR can make the call if someone is doing something wrong or not I just gave a plausible explanation on what may have happened in the video. It's still very possible you are right I'm agreeing there is something suspicious, there is no reason to jump down the throat of someone who's "trying to be helpful and reasonable".

Seriously other the lack of updates what contribute to making a making a game worse is people with constant negative attitudes. Work for a better game by helping to create a better game environment first. GMs and CSRs can't be everywhere, it's encouraged when you see people doing such things, to report them to CSR. Threatening players in general, and especially in such ways is a form of harassment and is punishable, take screenshots of such conversations and send them to CSR and they will do their thing, either by warning, suspension, or ban depending on the severity and player's records. Either they will learn their lesson and be nicer, or they will get in trouble repeatedly til they disappear from the game.

theres got to be sumthing we can do to get the gm/csr's attention. anything. i mean u just get the automated response from the csr's and robopanda only shows up wen theres a violation going on :/ well theres a MAJOR violation going on panda >.> its calld hackers. pretty sure that against the tos <.<

That is still irrelevant to the game's obvious stagnant progression in terms of content - they've had forever to improve the game.

In my perspective, and in that of most older and more experienced players, it is fairly obvious the game is being neglected, and to say the GMs have a lot to do should not really be an excuse to be recycled yet once again, given the evidence Doki provided.

If you have proof of said hacking, or modding, or botting, please send a ticket in.
Support.outspark.com make sure you actually have proof. Reporting someone because you "heard from a friend that their friend got scammed/hacked" is not proof. Direct proof is always best.

How hard is it to report someone for doing something illegal and wrong? It will get taken care of if you have enough proof for them to act on.

As for the "evidence" that doki provided, those are against the developers, not the gms. Sorry but I will return to the "gms have a lot of responsibilities" excuse because that's the truth. They have tried to help Windslayer, but the developers are not providing and the windslayer community pretty much refused the little help they did offer. Sad but true.

Type in the subject you want to ask csr or report to csr about for the Title, then type up your question/problem in Question, links to videos will go here. Select the product you are refering to(in this forum's case Windslayer), then the appropriate category.

Account Issues for hacked accounts, billing for cash related, Misc for bug reporting, and TOS Violation for bug exploits, hacking, harassment, staff impersonation, etc...

Add your server and character name, then attach any relevant pictures such as screenshots of harassments/threats, make sure the screen shots are not edited in any way, not even the screenshot name being changed.

1: Report the people that make the game worse so that they will either learn to be nicer or disappear slowly. That will promote a friendly game for new players, as well as removing "hackers" and hopefully patching fixes to any "hacks" that exist.
2: From there try to host fun events, even player held events are better than no events at all.
3: Be constructive and positive here on the forums and on Facebook, using RoboPanda's thread as an example can discuss possible new content(player made content not content other versions of windslayer has) both in game and cash shop. RoboPanda's thread can be found at http://www.outspark.com/forums/showthread.php?t=278119
4: Invite new players to play, more players enjoying the game means more chance of players spending money, even if it's just a little bit of money on the cash shop which helps support the game.

That's as basic as it gets with suggestions on how to help the game.

The community of Windslayer have the attitude that they do because we HAVE in the past tried to be cooperative and understanding. Windslayer has gone far too long without any communication between Outspark and their customers. I understand that the developers are not being cooperative and are not working with Outspark to bring this game to its full potential. But, honestly, Outspark officials posting a few times on the forums and shallowly explaining the situation is NOT enough to reasonably expect the community to have faith in the company.

Any person who has actually played the game and followed the situation over the past year know very well that Outspark is not doing all that they can to keep the community involved. Yes, the developers are not releasing new content, but adding new content is not all that should be expected from Outspark. We should expect forum events, in-game events, active GMs, and other things that Outspark HAS the power to do. This game has been abandoned and the people who have spent their money and time on it have the right to be angry. Forum events are not that hard to organize. At least one GM should be devoted to WS. I can't even remember the last time I saw an Outspark GM in-game. All the community ever needed was to know that they were there and that they cared about our feelings. But, they have continually acted like a mean step-parent neglecting the child that they SHOULD be taking care of.

On Topic: Hacks, in my opinion, are in fact ruining the game. I look at the leaderboards (which probably doesn't even show all of the hackers because Outspark has refused to fix it) and see 3 new level 99's that I have never even heard of. It makes me frustrated knowing that in a few weeks these people have reached a higher level than those who have spent thousands of hours painfully grinding to achieve something. It destroys the point of the game. Why spend the next year working towards something when you can do it overnight, amirite? No. Something gained easily is something not worth having.

Also, I know for a fact that these hack are real. The leaderboards prove it themselves. I've even witnessed it in person. I can tell you, as a player of almost 2 years, that it is NOT lag. It is a legit hack.

If it is the case then it's the community's fault events have stopped, if not simply ignore what I just said.

We may never get a full answer, but at the very least try to work for a better game, if things are too dull, glitchy, and lacking what you really want out of the game, and you are not willing to help pull the community together(anymore) then why are you still around, why not find a game that isn't lacking or being neglected that you could really enjoy.

First of all guys, cool it. There is no reason to flame/bash each other or the OS staff. Any further behavior of this sort will be edited/removed, and if necessary, reported to a CSR.

If you feel that another player is hacking, or violating any other rules, please take screenshots or video as proof. Send this proof to a CSR via a ticket so that they may review it and take whatever action they deem fit for the case.

I did see some of you guys express your feelings towards the lack of events for WS. Even though the developer is not being cooperative, I will see if we can arrange at least some Forum/Facebook based events, or even some in-game events that we do not need to involve the developer for.

@Dark, Hacking is a violation and is far more severe, and should be actioned upon with bans, believe me when I say that because we've faced mass item duplications in Solstice over a year ago and there were lots of bans, both innocent and guilty alike while they sorted it out. Please get your facts straight as well I am not on the forums constantly, tho I have been taking extra time to help around here and there and people have appreciated my posts, the only exception is here in the windslayer forums where the community just outright sucks. That's what i've seen in posts throughout the last 6+ months while I was reading up on the situation of this game.

Also they are not obligated to do events at all, events are a privilege that can be changed or taken away, or given more based on a number of factors. There was also a post somewhere where RoboPanda said the developers control the 2x exp events I'll see if I can dig that up. There are a number of gms they have lots of responsibilities too, some are tied to just specific games, others can help around several games. We as normal players don't know all the gms or what all their responsibilities are.

Finally, please stop with the negative attitude you are giving them very few reasons to even try if you keep being like this. If they can afford it they will probably give it another try tho. Til then I've said this before, players can host their own events here on the forums, and in game.

Unfortunately, something must have happened and the EXP boost wasn't added to the server. We are trying to contact the developer, but because of a holiday, we may not hear from them for a short time.

It's my understanding the main problem you people have with me is i'm not an everyday windslayer player. If I did play everyday things would be different. Also I may not know the full story, but I know more than enough from the way people have been talking across these forums. I will also make it as clear as possible right now there is nothing you could say or do, there is nothing that could have possibly happened that I don't know about already know about that would have me as "enraged" as the rest of you. Unlike the other people who have posted I'm the type of guy who knows how to hold back, knows how to keep a clear head and hold my tongue. There are lots I could have said but haven't, and trust me you do not want me to speak my mind because the more I read, the more I understand why gms haven't been around. The bans for windslayer will come when it's been properly investigated. I don't care about my post count, I have even deleted some of my older posts before and have no problems doing it again just to prove a point.
