For mages just keep going with pure int with enough pow for your staff. That's the best way to achieve high damage. For your AoEs Lightning and all click on ground aoes never crit.

Hmm I agree with wardomic that if u want highest damage u shouldn't add that many power. For me u could try to add a bit men like 4 or 5 if u want to improve ur skill cast speed and critical

Unless you are using a magic or defense mount, i'd suggest getting a panda any kind(or magic/defense panda if you can afford it). It gives +10 Pow when you are riding it and that's +500 WT for mages and clerics. When I started riding my panda it felt like it fixed my own mage's wt. That's just my opinion tho. Panda's FTW!!!!!1

Panda, White Tiger, Dragon, and Camel are all good choices (Prefer Dragon the most due to its good weight increase and Mentality increase). The POW stat is actually very effective in growth rate for the Mage class. They get 50 WT per point oppose to other classes like Warlord, which only gets 30 per point.

Mentality is helpful for increasing critical hit rates in order to nail additional damage. But don't do too much with leveling points, keep the investment under 10 for MEN. If you want higher rates use accessories or mounts that increase the MEN stat.

Keep your leveling points to INT mostly, If you want more MEN or even more Weight (using the POW stat), use outside equipments to increase POW and MEN.

Oh, i get it..Well, i dont have sc to buy rebirth card..I don't mind about it..I will just stick on build i have right now and keep my leveling points to INT and maybe add 9-10 points on MEN later..which level is suitable to add MEN ?

Late Mage (Lv86+)/Early Wizard is fine.

Since you want to keep those points, and if you do use sparkcash down the line, focus on using the INT type Bells (Purple or Cat). Or go for INT Pearls and Type of Wings in the game. This will make up for the loss invested into POW.

I actually use things like POW wings and Bell since I have most leveling points focused on INT. You can go the other way around if you don't want to reset. Maximum INT is not crucial for this class, for Magic is not that very effective in growth rates.
