Everyone ~ Please post your tips for the KQs as a cleric to help the newbies cleric that read the form~
The one from me is very simple:
Just remember you heal range is 18m and rejev is 15m , do not stand close to AoE range~ Run if necessary~ ( Works on all KQs , including Spider~ Never played KKP before~ working on leveling there ~ I don't mind if anyone want to P-lvl me after 14th Jan 2011~ ^^ )

dont fight unless there are no capable fighters that can do so. just heal. no bashing, no tanking unless you know for a fact that absolutely NO ONE needs your heals and won't need them for at least 20 seconds. there is a time and place for battle clerics, and only the elite can tell when. better safe than sorry. if you don't listen don't go complaining to others about how everyone hates you for causing the KQ to fail. once you get a handle on being a cleric, then, maybe you can start bashing around. but only once you've learned how to play your class.

Tip: You can heal people who are NOT in your party. If a tanker who is NOT in your party needs heals, select a monster that has aggro'd the tank. Then you can see who the monster is focused on. Select the picture of the tanker that the monster is focused on. You are now focused on the tank. Start healing.

Don't waste heals. When I say this, I don't mean to be lazy and not heal until someone has like 300hp or lower. I mean don't risk having your heals on cd when people absolutely need them just to heal a rediculously low amount. If you really hate when someone is missing like 5% of their health, just use restore or invigorate. This way if people in your party take a large of damage rapidly your heals aren't cooling down.

Restore is great when you've got multiple people in your party taking damage. Try to keep it on everyone who's taking damage at a given time. That allows you to focus heals on the person(s) taking the most damage while still helping out other people who might need it.
If there are multiple people who need to be revived, try to rev clerics first (so they can revive other people). Otherwise you can prioritize based on who died earliest and who has the fewest hearts left (if you know these things).
Be careful not to draw aggro by overhealing. This can be tricky, but if a bunch of mobs suddenly jump you while you're healing a partymate it can be bad news.
Don't be afraid to tell other people what you need. Don't be bossy, but it's fine to ask people to cover you if you're getting attacked, or ask fighters to mock more, or ask people to take it easy with the mobs. Or if you see someone who isn't as experienced with the KQ strategy, you can explain to them what to do or not do.
Do your job to help the KQ succeed, but don't let people be rude to you or disrespect what you're doing if you're trying your best. Try to ignore anyone who acts like a jerk, and focus on taking care of the people who need and deserve your attention. This can be pretty subjective, but there will be times when you have to deal with idiots and rude people, so you have to learn to deal with criticism while doing your job as a cleric.

During kq- Stay back.
There is (in my opinion) nothing more annoying then a cleric who hasn't learned how to stay back and do their job, which is to KEEP EVERYONE ALIVE. Without clerics, it's very likely the whole thing will crumble. Clerics aren't really made to tank, but there is an occasional cleric that can clank quite successfully.
You should ONLY clank, like avtxl said, if there is nobody else that is capable of tanking.
It can be hard not to draw aggro with your heal if your party/tank is taking lots of damage very quickly. Restore can be helpful, but if the monster is out-damaging the hp they're earning, it'll only extend their life for a few seconds more. It wont save them.
As you do kq, you'll find that sometimes your fellow kq'ers will think you're some sort of superhuman that can heal like lightning. There will be people that will run ahead, aren't capable of tanking, die, and then scream at you "REZ ME. U LET ME DIE. NOOB CLERIC."
These sort of people are idiots, and you'll probably encounter a few of them.
You can rez people that die, but if the same people keep dying over and over, tell them to learn how to stay alive and let them lose a heart. Other clerics might rez them, and that's okay. You can tell the other clerics not to rez so-and-so because they're being an idiot, but if they do, that's their choice. If it's their last heart, they weren't that much help anyway, so it shouldn't be a big loss.
Basically, you job is to heal. Heal, heal, heal. Don't fight, that's what *fighters* are for.
Clerics are a very important part of the party, so you can't afford to die.

What I do in kqs is when I get in a kq I ask for party invite then I buff everybody in my party. Then if I need too heal people I can't see in my party i click on their icon on the left hand side of the screen and my last tip is focus on healing tankers because they're are gonna be taking the most damage butt if you see anyone else dieing don't be afraid to help them.

How i do act in Kingdom Quests:
- I dont attack. I keep the Kq alive and fully buffed
- My Party has priority
- Second priority is to help keeping the tank alive
- If i have neither damage in my party nor a tank to heal, i heal the person with the highest incoming damage
- If someone dies nearby (equal if its pt member or not), i make sure i can rev him without the risk of causing more deads in the time im distract with reviving (For example because i dont heal or i pull aggro)
- Reviving Clerics has priority before any other class.
- I stay out of spawn and aoe zones. If im dead, the rest of the party will probably also die.
- If i pull aggro, i will not try to loose it by stop healing. Its the better option to run through a nearby aoe attack.
- One last thing: i dont insist on complete sentences if someone wants a buff. "Buff pls" should be enough for you to buff him. Kq first, you can teach them manners later.

Now now, very interesting tips up there, very useful indeed.
What I usually do:
1. I go kq very often, so I more or less know who's what job and stuff. Before I even enter KQ, I already got a pt with the right classes and all.
2. Try not to have too many tanks in one pt and too many clerics in the other...no one gets anywhere like this.
3. You can either be ******* and leech or invite another cleric into your pt to do the healing for you OR make yourself useful and heal people.
4. I use restore for small health decreases and heal for larger health decrease on my party n for emergency I use rejuvenate on top of the normal heals.
5. If everyone in the pt is getting hit, I use the heal everyone in pt skill(lvl 60 skill- i forgot the name ><)
6. Invincible comes in handy too when i.e. the mage in your pt keeps nova-ing and is taking lots of hits from the mobs...NOTE: I find myself not really using invincible on fighters because most of them have high endurance and that increases their block rate...together with their high hp, they don't die that fast.
7. At higher levels, quicken skill can be used to cast invincible twice if i'm not wrong.
MOST IMPORTANT, if everyone in your pt is dying and the tank is in your pt, heal the tank, don't care about your other pt members. The logic is like this, if you heal your other pt members who are mages, archers, etc...your tank will die right? n when your tank dies? no one is able to tank anymore unless you have two tanks. so 1. the monster starts rampaging everyone, this includes you. 2. he goes back to his corner and regens his hp. ....WHAT A WASTE OF ALL THE EFFORT RIGHT?
SO? heal the tank, what happens? all your pt members die, if you're lucky you are alive also. Because, your tank can pull the mobs off you. Is there a cleric to rez everyone? Maybe not everyone but one or two? YES, and that's you. When do you revive them? when your tank's health is not in danger. This is important. Don't rez people just because they say i left 10 secs while tank's health is in danger (critical condition). So normally invincible your tank, then do a quick revive of one person(preferably the cleric if there is).
The other stuff that people say up there applies as well and are good. =D
