Profile question

I noticed that there is a messenger available on the profile pages, but how does it exactly work ?
Sometimes it say I'm online, most of the time it say I'm offline (weird when I'm logged on to the site). When I click on the "you are offline, go online" button, nothing happen.

So anyone have a clue ?

Not sure entirely, but I figure it sets you to "offline" if there's a period of inactivity. Although there are occasional glitches (as described above) in the system (thank meebo), it's pretty neat how it was integrated.

but how do you get online in the 1st place ?
I remember beeing online recently, without using anything but the usual outspark login. Since then, I'm always offline.

Usually if you are offline, you have to click the button in the bottom-right corner of your screen. It will reconnect you in.
