Turf Wars
Here is the idea, taken from a game that I participated as a GM in, to spice up the Guild Wars that we have to give it meaning. Every time play in a war against another guild, it gets boring fast and I don’t like to participate. So without further ado, here is the idea and suggestion to make this game a heck of a lot better.

Castles Turfs
There are currently three cities as of right now in Fiesta, but what if we expand these cities to have an area that has three miniature castles. These castles will represent the turfs for the guilds during the guild wars and owning them will allow players access to three treasure chests per week.

The concept of this, whoever owns the most castles get better treasure in their chest, promoting more turf wars to gain the castles. When each castle is taken over for that city, the center castle spawns a green random item; as you know with the wars happening all the time, this will rarely happen.

Treasure Chests
These are the little rare chests that you find laying around Fiesta at times, but can also be found inside the castles which you gain. When you gain a castle, it will automatically make the chest available for those that acquired it. This will also promote declarations of guild war on other guilds…

Declaring Turf War
You can only declare one turf war a day, this will limit how many times you get attacked; so if you get attacked by all the guilds and managed to survive, you have nothing to worry about for the rest of the day. This can only be declared when you are before one of the castles you want to gain at a NPC, in turn, it will be announced to the guild you are waging war against and they have 5 minutes to get ready to defend their castle.

Guards within the Castles
Leaders of the guild will have a chance to buy guards from the Fiesta Shop to watch over their castle for as long as you have it, they also can be upgraded through the Fiesta Shop to make them stronger so it becomes harder to take over your castle. This is a very unique way to protect your castle, because you can combine your players and the guards to make a great defense; these guards will only attack the opposing guild. This is a great way to protect your castle if you are not on or you have very little players to defend it at the time…

Gaining an Castle
The means to gain a castle is done through the old fashion way, to kill as many of the opposite party members. The team with the most points wins the battle, thus taking over the castle that the opposing team has. The battles can be fought throughout these mini castles and other mini castles at the same time. The more castles you own, the harder it is to protect your castle…

Well, there you have it, my little twist to guild wars to make it more interesting.

No. It might be fun for some people, but this game doesn't need to have everything that's been done in other games.

Granted, if a GM wishes to base a War event around a city in a similar scenario, then by all means, but the cities don't need to be changed, and I highly doubt they'd go back to remodeling areas at this stage in the game.

Imo, if you want to make the game, particularly PvP, as this post pertains to, better - the cooldowns on pots and stones, as well as the amount you can use, should be limited. It stops the fights from being just plain out silly.
