What does the color of a monster's name indicate?
As a Noob, I am reading just about everything I can about Fiesta and it's all becoming a blur. I (think I) read in some post or guide that you can tell how tuff it will be to fight a monster by the color of the monster's name (for example, Ratman).
If there is a guide that explains this color coding, can you direct me to it? If there is no guide on this, can you give me a hint please?
Thanks, in advance.

Grey means it's way lower than you.
Green means it's lower than you.
Yellow means it's about the same level as you.
Red says it's higher than you.

To "con" something is to target it and look at the color of its name. I believe it is short for consider.
Red: Generally 5 levels or more above you. leave it alone if solo. Usually takes a group to kill it.
Orange: 3 levels above you ( approx.) You may be able to solo it ,but it might be rough. Take a partner.
Yellow: 1-2 levels above you. Good for soloing, although some are toughers than others. You still might need a friend with some of them depending on your class and skill at that class.
Green:Your level or a couple of levels below you. Good for soloing and farming materials.
Gray: 5 (orso) levels below you. Gives horrible exp and rarely drops materials anymore. You will no longer get kill credits for these mobs on a license.
There are also various classes of mobs:
General: Just a normal mob. nothing special
Elite: A tougher mob. ( A lot of them have "Speedy" in their name hehe). May con green but can still beat the snot out of you if you're not careful.
Chief: A boss mob. These mobs take 1 group or more to kill. Like the bosses of KQ's. They tend to have a lot of Hitpoints.

To further Trebori's reply, the Monster Class can be told by moving the pointer over the little symbol by the hp bar where the monster name is.
General Monster has a face looking thing that just looks like a normal face.
The closest thing to an Elite Monster is , but still yellow.
A Chief Monster looks like this , only half yellow.
I have yet to see a Hero Monster though, so I don't know what it's symbol looks like, and they supposedly exist, but I have yet to see one...
Monster Types like Spirit, Human, and Undead, can be seen by pointing to the symbol by the SP bar where the Monster Name is. (These are only real useful when searching for specific items, but you can go to fiestawiki and go to mob drops)

There's a honeying in the ancient tree forest with a hero symbol.

It kinda has effects on the exp and drops you'll get too.

Orange: 100% exp, 50% drops
Yellow: 100% exp, 100% drops
Green: 50% exp, 50% drops
Grey: 25% exp, 25% drops
