Exile: A GT Guild

Welcome to the Exile Thread.
The goal for this Guild is not to become one of the best Guilds on Bijou,
But to allow players that want to attend Guild Tournament to be able to!

Every week, only a handful of Guilds par-take in Guild Tournament.
Why? Because you see all the Guilds full of Prestigious Players and think " e.e No chance".

At that, it's the Guild Master's choice if a Guild can attend anyways.

That is where Exile comes in!
1) Exile is not a "Permanent" Guild. It is only for Guild Tournaments. (Please see below)
2) We will sign up for every GT once we get a member base set.
3) Rewards will be given out based on GT activity at the end of every month.
4) At this time, we will not have an active Academy, but maybe we can get pre-tournament Guild Buffs.

Few Requirements:
1) Have a SC Mount so you can get around faster.
2) Must be above level 60.

A little note about Exile. Exile is not your average Guild. As said above, the focus of it is GT. So really if you have plan of ever attending GT, please don't join. If you join the Guild, than never go, than you will get kicked.
That isn't to say that we wont do things during the week. Lab, Ln, DT, ect events will be held as well.

So basically people can just jump in this guild to do GT's and get rewards? Sounds kinda hard to do cuz they might not trust the master anyways good luck :D

No :o. That is similar to the original plan, but that exact thought came up.

People actually join, and Exile becomes their Guild Tag, but if said person isn't willing to attend GT, than they are removed.

The deal for rewards being handed out at the end of the month is so that everyone has a fair shot at them. Like if a player does really good in one weeks GT, but can't make the next weeks, there's no reason that person shouldn't get some type of reward.

Basically sccores attained in GT determine if you get a reward (which very well might end up bi-weekly).

It makes sense but than it doesn't....but then it does lol.

Are you aware that you can only modify your roster while the GT participation window is opened?

This means, anyone who joins your guild must remain in it from thursday/friday (depending on time zone) until sunday/monday night, then leave at monday, then join back at wednesday to participate again

If you are confused on the "It not being a "Permanent" Guild" part, that is to say that it won't try to attain anything. If will be a Guild with a single focus, but will do other things too.

Or is it the word "list" that is throwing people off? That is to mean Members List (I'll change it after I'm done here).


If it's neither of those two, than I have no idea where you are misunderstanding what is typed there. Other than the one little problem, I don't see anything that isn't easy to get.

If it is only for GTs, let's say I'm in a guild who doesn't join for whatever reasons, I am getting that you would invite me to your guild join GT, and then I can come back to my friends who for whatever reasons don't feel like joining GT.
You say it is to say that it won't attain anything, but GT does attain things: it compromises the person to be available every week from thursday-sunday at really hard timeframes to participate. Rewards are not really that useful, so it's merely for the fun of it. I'm guessing after GT the person will be wanting to come back to his/her friends, and it's just for a couple days, because then if they want to participate again they need to be in before the window closes.



If it's neither of those two, than I have no idea where you are misunderstanding what is typed there. Other than the one little problem, I don't see anything that isn't easy to get.

i think maybe he just didn't realize that guild rosters become locked during that time frame... once the schedule is announced, you cannot add or remove any guild members for any reason, they cannot leave, they cannot be banned, until your participation in the tourney is over... if you had hopes that people could join the guild temporarily hours or even minutes before the match started, unfortunately it can't be done.

oh don't get me wrong, i support your idea and wish you luck. the problem is getting 'temporary' members that are willing to leave their guild for half of the week including the most traffic-heavy playtimes, weekends... i'm not too sure how many interested people you'll get if they know what they're getting into.

Okay.....really.....THEY AREN'T TEMPORARY!!!!!!!!!! They are Members of the Exile, no other Guild.

And for those of you who are having issues with this, Exile is just like any other Guild, but is catored more towards a single focus. If people don't want to attend GT, they don't stay very long. Plain and simple.

Now before anyone points out the "Permanent" part, think of it to mean just what I said up there. If you don't go to GT, than you have no point to be in it.

Let me ask this,

How do you plan to recruit here, when you don't even post with your actual account? You don't say who you are in game? People will find it hard to trust you with this in mind.

Also, you seem to have a temper. Guildmastering requires more patience than that I'd assume, and maybe you wouldn't have had so many questions if you worded things correctly.

The reason it doesnt say who the Guild Master is, is becuase that Actually hasn't been decided. It's a few people who have the same idea, and we were trying to see if we could get members before actually going forth with the Guild itself.
Hence why a new character was created to make a thread. We didn't want to stick it to one person, so instead we thought "Make a noob." And no, that doesn't mean we are account sharing.

As for the temper...when you have to explain something four times when it has nothing to do with anything that is posted, you get a little annoyed and agitated. And it gets worse each time it has to be repeated.

You try to act smart, you try to act condescending. Too bad you're just acting both, and not actually being both. It means, you thought you were both, but you failed at it. Your own typing language caused people to misunderstand. Telling people this guild was purely for GT leads them to assume that you are a temporary guild for GT on weekends only. But you're not. Oh... So it's worst than I thought.
I understood that you were recruiting people to participate in GT, but no, you are recruiting people for a guild whose motto is 'let's participate in GT'. As you said 'this is not meant to be rude', but, you won't last long.
GT is a very demanding instance. You are required to log in outrageous timeframes, to bring certain lvl of SC, to fight against people who can 1 hit you uncookied, during around 30 minutes that seem to last like 2 hours. I will recognize, not one of my favourite features in game, it's stressing and time demanding.
Why do I do it? The rewards are really dissapointing. Rama pots are only a few even if you get first, the rings are not rly that much of a difference when used, necklaces are glitched (or so I heard, since those who tried it didn't notice a dif in dmg). So, like SnakeEyes used to say, at the end of the day, it's all about the group hugs. But there won't be any group hug in a guild that only recruited with the goal of participating in an event like this.

Sorry for 'misunderstanding' you. Actually, I gave you the benefit of the doubt and assumed you ignored that fact that making a GT temporary guild wasn't gonna work. Now I know that you don't ignore it, you are really looking to build a guild like you would build a castle with sand.

So if it's not permanent, it must be temporary no? I dunno, i think your initial posting needs an overhaul unless all of us are really that dumb.
