does free stat strength ignore mob defense?

While I am not sure, I doubt it. I would think it would look something like this though. Assuming the least you can do is 1 damage this model may work. (Base damage without stat poins + damage added from free stat points) - Defense of target = Damage done, but damage must be greater than or equal to 1. I don't know if this is accurate, and I seriously doubt it is seeing as I can explain it in my head but it doesn't look right here, so please do not go by this, but use it as a kind of guideline and extrapolate your own answers from this. I do not pretend to understand the formulas, I just write what I would use.
