Lustered Soul Dust Help

I need a lustered soul dust for a quest and someone told me that i need to kill orcs and harkans in collapsed prison to get them, but when I went there, the harkans near the portal were too strong for me (and the fact that a king coll attacked me at the same time didn't help). Are there any other mobs that drop lustered soul dusts, because it doesn't make sense to me to have a lvl 27 quest that requires me to kill mobs who are a lot stronger than a lvl 30 character (stronger as in their name's in red).

i had a lustered soul dust in my bank for quite a while....not sure who i got it, might have been from the king slime kq, im guessing, but try buying one if you can't obtain one through fighting

Usually the best way to attain such a thing is via a group or from a friend. What server do you reside on?

I'm on Teva. So Harkans and Orcs really are the only mobs you can get them from? That and does anyone know which mobs drop Sign of Trace, because I'm not seeing it in the mobs drop guide i was looking at.

I know Hobs drop Sign of trace in Vine Tomb. But, they are like 38 lvl mobs.

Your best bet is to either have a friend/guildmate give you them or simply buy them from a player in Elderine.

The only monsters I've seen drop Signs of Trace so far are regular Hobs in Vine Tomb.

sign of trace can be farmed from humanoid monsters, like hobs, karasians, prisoners, ...
Collapsed Prison and Vine Tomb are the places where you can get them best.
Lustered Dusts are dropped by higher level mobs (45+) only in Bijou. The easiest way to obtain some is to go to collapsed prison and shout 'buying lustered X dust for N c ea'. N should be over 300 as they can be sold to NPC for 300 coppers.

What I don't understand is that when I gave the lustered dust to Robin (IIRC), he didn't take the dust... WTH??? The lustered dust remained in my inventory.

TIER 3 ITEMS can be obtained at a good rate starting with CP

My character's Zamza. If you could help with either quest I'd appreciate it, but I just saw the rewards for them and they're not that great, so I could probably let it go.

And to answer your question, that was probably because one of the rewards for the quest is a lustered soul dust. It's kinda retarded to me, but oh well.
