Thats true..

Read any signs you come up against, Megumi. It will help you avoid a lot of confusion in the future. For example, the sign in from of the entrance to Sea of Greed states that the area is not for new people with low level characters. Not only for the fact it has higher level monsters than you can handle on your own but also, I'm sure, because it takes you to Elderine if you die there. Not saying you did anything wrong, just saying that a lot of people miss little details like that and find themselves in a pickle of sorts.

sorted, figure it out by dying in the right place. I love that people always laugh at new people, because they were never new :) cheers

Actually, if you have been training in Rumen then die and get 'ported to Eldrine, the city can be overwhelming at first glance.

I was completely overwhelemed by Eldrine that my only option was to scroll back to the town of Rumen.

I have total sympathy for you megumi, the same thing happened to me about two hours after first ever coming to this game (very disconcerting).
I shall impart my wisdom(or lack thereof) I stood near a group of very high lvl types and said outloud im here by accident how do i get back to elderine, and one kind soul I foget her name now gave me a return scroll, i suggest you try it most people have far to many of these return scrolls and quite frankly are pleased to get rid of them, i would certainly hand one out if needed.
