What's the Deal with Archers?

What's Up with Archers?

Why do they have to buy arrows?
Do they still get to melee?
Cloak?


Personally am a fan of the archers but the game is too vague on the topic of archers

Please Enlighten Me :)

1. Uhm, you can't spawn arrows from thin air.

2. No, they shoot stuff, hence are the "crowdcontrolling"-class.

3. You loose all skills from the Neophyte upon becoming a Scouter. Just like Disciple on the Acolytebranch. Otherwise it would be unfair.

It would have been fun if you could still use daggers though. I mean what happens if you run out of arrows (even if it's your own stupidity and carelessness)

well I really just want to screw around and use a dagger, laugh if I kill a rogue using a dagger in pvp. Imagine the fun possibilitiess...

Naturally, I'd imagine they'd be less effective with an archer than with a neophyte/rogue.

Archers need Pow and Men most. Agi would be secondary for speed.

Like ones in RO 19X aspd?
Probly 0.1 atk speed in the game? hehs.
id like to seek clarification on this on whats the maximum atk speed.

Depends on your style of play. People who like speed as the est offince choose rouge, those who like to heal others choose acolyte, those he like distance go archer and mage. and last those who think power and defense is the best offense choose fighter. again, it depends on what you like.

Archers are alright, but if you don't know how to play them well they will stink in your hands. if you just want a good player like mario in the Super Mario 64 for the Ds game. just stay with being a rogue

true u have to learn to hit high and run when they attack u up front like hit and run hit and run etc...

OH YEA BTW! Don't put much in AGI whenu become a scout, what u want to concentrate on at first is POW then start puttin some in MENT(FYI: ment increases ur SKILL attack speed) for faster attack speed. (Dont worry bout any MENT til u about lv 50, just put it all in POW at first)

I was an archer on RO, and I was able to take down monsters far beyond my Lv, on my own with a hit and run maneuver. I have yet to start playing, but if archers are any bit the same here as it was on RO, they should be good.

As an archer it's all about rang, and power. you have to be the kind of player that is willing to take there time killing the enemy. Hit and run maneuvers are the best, and skills are used for speed. the best part is if you get the high ground where they can't get at you, but you can get at them. In all it's about Logical attacks, taking the advantage, and never letting the pray get to close.

Mages are the same, but don't do as well on their own as archers do. Archer are probably the best solo class you can get.

Archers in this game dont use Agi, they use POW and a lil bit of MEN

I believe both games run on the same engine.

In my honest opinion, I hate RO, and for some reason this feels just so much different. =]
