View Full Version : How the relics are not achieving thier goal

When relics were introduced the the guild tounrament they definatly changed it. they changed it and allowed it for weaker guilds to actually have a chance to win and for lower level people to actually stand a chance in gt and actually get points to possibly be a high scorer. the main relics that helped achieve that was: goey morph, planeshift, berzerker bomb, and swift justice and of those the most common one was planeshift.

Now that planeshift has been nerfed and is now barely more useful as hide is for rangers. (which is hardly useful at all.) it definatly limits how useful a low level can be against a high lvl. As well as planeshift goey morph has also been nerfed no longer can a low level kill a high level.

It was my understanding that the relics were introduced to even the playing field in guild tournament and allow weaker guilds to beat stronger guilds... perhaps even the strongest guild on server. Seeing as the relics did exactly that why would os nerf them? Yes some high levels complained... but shouldnt that just mean that the relics did do as they were meant to and that they should keep the relics as is because it does even out guild tournament? that is my question.

As for the binning and what not i understand that is a pain and i dont like when i get binned a lot from goey morph also HOWEVER that should not be the reason that the nerf goey morph. Also i understand that over 1 minute of being able to attack invisible is a little strong so why didnt they just reduce the time but keep planeshift as it was?

I agree with almost everything. Gt with relics become more balanced, and you needed not only tons of sc to win, your reaction, ability to take fast decisions, experience working in teams, everything played role.

Now it again returning to old, boring and lame GT where top charmers win. My guild strong enough to get into top ranking w/o relying on relics much, but without them its very boring, and bining/dc still occurs, removing slime morph changed nothing...

Edit: Also please limit amount of players that can enter GT and make requirements for registration, cause many 1 person alt guilds join, many real guilds get kicked.

nice post uhh *cough* commandermegatron. I must say I agree. Still binning as much as I used to and also I must say that I as a cleric am MUCH more useful when I'm invisible!! -want planeshift fixed plox- :x

i agree, why were the gt relics nerfed so much? i mean the morph to turn you in to a slime doesn't even work. All it does is make me get off mount thats yet nothing more. And planeshift you get out as soon as your hit making it pretty much useless.

I totally agree with this, the reason I always went to GT even when i was a nub is cause of relics, back when slime worked, and i hate pvp. Relics still balance things out somewhat, but not nearly as much, a 90% cookie beats all relics
