-What is a Mando?
The Mandalorians—known in Mando'a as the Mando'ade, or "Children of Mandalore"—were a nomadic group of clan-based people consisting of members from multiple species and multiple genders, all bound by a common culture.
In their early years, the Mandalorian culture revolved around battle, with war being a source of honor and pride in their community. The leader of the Mandalorians was known as the Mand'alor, translating to "Sole Ruler" and was rendered as "Mandalore"

-What does it take to be a mando'ade? (Children of Mandalore)
There are several important things that Mandalorians value above all else, "family, pride, honor, being a warrior". By joining the guild you imply that you have a commitment to these things, family in this case meaning the Guild and it's members.
"We don't have a word for hero. Being prepared to die for your family and friends, or what you hold dear, is a basic requirement for a Mando, so it's not worth a separate word. It's only cowards we had to find a special name for."

-Why do you keep saying all these weird words like "mando'ade"?
Mandalorians like all cultures have their own language. Some words or phrases are ones that the Guild Master has taken to heart.

The following phrases are ones that you might hear most often:
Vode-brother/comrade/sister
Vode'an- Brothers All
"-insertname-" 'ika = affectionate term, (ex: "Better watch out, Dri'ika!")
mandokarla - having the "right stuff", showing guts and spirit, the state of being the epitome of Mando virtue
K'oyacyi! - 1. "Cheers!" 2. Can also mean: "Hang in there" or 3. "Come back safely." Literally, a command; "Stay alive!"
Oya! - Many meanings: literally "Let's hunt!" and also "Stay alive!", but also "Hoorah!", "Go you!", "Cheers!" Always positive and triumphant.
Oya Mando! - Let's Hunt Mandos!
-Do I have to learn the language to join?
Of course not! The only requirement is keeping true to the Mando Spirit. We also don't require that you be a fan of Star Wars to join.
-So...Mandalorian is a Star Wars thing?
Yes it is. The SW Universe is vast, and LucasArts allows many independent authors to write for it. Many authors write (and draw comics!) along this topic.

To Join: Posting here with your character name is the best way to join, after that the guild master or an admin can meet you in game and invite you.
