View Full Version : *Production skills quick start guide*

I see the same questions asked over and over. Here is a quick start guide to getting Production skills going:

Step 1: Press "k" and pick your 2 production skills ( choose wisely, you can't change them later)

Step 2: Drag and drop your chosen skills icons to your hotbar.

Step 3: Right click the icon on the hotbar to open that skills window.

Step 4: Look at the recipes listed on the left side of that window. The recipes you can learn will be in yellow text. They will have a skill requirement of [0].

Step 5: Go to Ruby and look at the "Alchemy Tab" ( use the arrows to navigate through the various pages.) Buy the recipes you can learn.

Step 6: Right click those recipes to learn them ( close the shop window first or you will just sell them back for a loss)

Step 7: Reopen the skill window from the hotbar. The recipes you learned will now be in Blue text. If you have ALL of the required materials then you can highlight that recipe and click "Produce" to make that item.

*Recipes listed in Red text are recipes you do NOT have enough production skill to learn yet. At the top left of production window there will be a set of numbers. It will start at 0/1000. As you make items the number on the left will increase. When it reaches the skill level of the number next to the Red text recipes then they will turn yellow. Meaning you can then buy those recipes and learn them.*

Does that help you?

Oh yes you will, you will still get the people who DL the game, install, logon and go like this:

[Noob]How do I play?

But, thank you very much...this WILL be a great stepping stone for those of us who like to research a game for ourselves :)

You have selected your 2 production skills from the skills window correct?

The scroll production skill itself doesn't have a scroll. You simply click and drop it in one of the 2 slots at the top of the production skills window.

Power [tier 1] is mislabled. You buy Accuracy [tier 1] second page of alchemy scrolls at Ruby. There isn't a power scroll actually. It increases aim not power.

Need to find skills to buy? Click the arrows on the bottom of the store window at Ruby's or one of the masters in Elderine (preferably the one connected to your class).

Other skills are bought at Nina's for fame (important lv 20 skills and tier 3 skills)

You buy the recipe scrolls for them just like you did the hp,sp recipes. It is no different.

Go to Back to Ruby or any of the class trainers in Elderine and buy the recipes for them.

But you guys say it increases accuracy. I'm veeery confused. Please help.

power scroll actually increase aim... that's why if you use one, the icon will show INCREASED AIM...

very evident already ^^
another proof is that there really is no increase in damage(check ur stat before and after the scroll use) but your aim(accuracy) will definitely increase

Vitality2 is a rare drop from mobs. It can NOT be purchased from a NPC. Not sure on the shield2 it may be aswell. Good luck finding them!

The "endure" buff that raise the amount of hp/sp someone has is a 47 level skill.
I would imagine the cleric skill trainer in Elderine would have that.

I want to clarify what the previous member was trying to say about scroll production.

He is asking the same question I am going to ask.

Where do you find the NPC that sells the scrolls for making scrolls; as in vit, mental, speed, etc. if you understand what im trying to say.

Cause Ruby doesn't sell the learning scrolls to learn the different types of scrolls for the Scroll Productioin Skill.

Thanks.

She sells the tier1 version.

You just have to use the arrows( at the bottom of the window) to move through the various pages. She has like 5 or 6 pages of recipes of all kinds.

The 4 class trainers in Elderine also sell the various production scrolls.

And, various later level ( tier2 and up) can be bought with fame( not money) from Item Merchant Nina in Elderine.

OK OK Ive done everything here that you have explained but for some reason, when I click on "Produce" nothing happens, well there is are a bunch of funny symbols that show up on my screen in the lower right hand corner, but that's it....Plz, what could I be doing wrong??? anyone????
I want to start producing HP potions and Scrolls, since I seem to go through them really quick and buying them all the time is just keeping me broke lol....

To remove an item from a stack, hold Ctrl and left-click the stack. It should then open up a smaller window for item allocation. Type one, press OK, and click on the next spot in your inventory.

you can only learn 2 skills. but they can be any of the 2 that they offer. mining isn't one of the 2 skills. you can learn it, but it doesn't count as one of the 2. you chose potion production, so you can also learn antidote potion(it's on page 3 of ruby's list). you can also get 1 more skill. you can select any from the skill list(the same way that you selected potions.) be warned. whatever you chose you can not change.

Whenever I click on a production skill to learn it, it just says, "Selected Production Skill cannot be learned" I have enough skill points and I don't have any production skills at all. Can anyone help me out?
I think I know what you did wrong.
Did you select your 2 skills because if you selected, for instance, scrolls and stones, you wouldn't be able to make potions.

There is now paid by real money in Outspark Store - Production skill reset, 3150 sparcash = 4.50USD

I more recommend just create sub-character and choose the other skill.

I hope this doesn't make me sound slow or redundant......but,

I have gone to Ruby in hopes of finding the necessary skill in scroll form or otherwise, that will help me to produce Antidote Tier 1. I have gone through her list, all pages and all i seem to find is Tier 2.

What am i missing and where do i go to find this skill to learn it so that i may produce the Antidote potion?

i need to know if you can buy reicpies for "return:_______" scrolls.. one of my friends said you can buy them from uraga but before i spend the money on a scroll to go there i wanna check first...

oukie

By producing stuff. If you need to get points to make lix, just make (i think it is 300?) elrue. then the lix option will be yellow or blue depending if you ahve the skill or not.

Honestly, I do not think you can make those scrolls. I think return scrolls are drop and quest prizes only.

On the elrue to lix, I don;t think it will work like that. Never tried it. Will give it a shot when i go online later and report back if no one has come back with an answer yet.

:confused:what about lvl up alchemy how do u do that

drigr_x
08-24-2008, 04:56 PM
Seventoez, I don not understand what you mean. Alchemy in itself isn't a skill, therefore it cannot be leveled. But after you choose your production skill and buy the recipies (alchemy section from a skill master) you then level that skill by making the recipie.

For example:
If you chose potion making as a production skill you can go to Skill Master Ruby and buy the HP and SP potion recipies. After that, you want to buy, or find, the ingredients for the potions. When you have the required ingredients, push "K" and open up you skills. Find the potion making skill and open up that window. Now select the potion you wish to be making and click produce. This will give you points on you potion making, later allowing you to make different potions and Teir 2 potions.

Hope this helped.

First off I would like to thank you for starting this thread. It has been very enlightening. I do have a question however, I obtained the alchemy stones from Nina but when I click on the recipe they do not show up. I am trying to to do Material comp and decomp with one of my sub characters. and it just won't work. Any suggestions? or is it just a glitch in my character? The other question I wondered about is what are the boxes arround my character for? I am not talking about the equip boxes, I am talking about the boxes outside of those. My highest character is only a level 20, so if it is something beyond that I appologise. Also for my cleric, where do I get the revive skill? and at what level? Thank you very much and I look forward to hearing back from someone who knows where I am going.

u need to obtain certain amount of production points before u can learn a recipe. example, recipe abc requires 1000 production points. it means that u need to reach 1000 production points to be able to learn the recipe.

the boxes are for equipping premium items (items u bought using spark cash).

First of, make sure you know which 2 productions you want to do. Either that or make some alts or something for the other productions.

To find the skill, you go to alchemy. Don't forget to click the little arrow that shows you more selections like scroll skills. I always forgot to go to the next page and never knew lol.

Your screen settings may be in such a way that it shows up at the bottom or whatnot. Sometimes it will say "production failed" meaning that there is NO ROOM in your inventory (in which case, drop something, and it will change. You only need one space). Try moving the screen and see if it shows up. I know I have this problem in the beauty shop, I can't save my information, because my screen cuts it off. I have to log out and hope it works.

no, i have plenty of open spots in my inventory. i just can't figure out where you go to make the potions. there's no where under the skill tab that i can find anything that says "create potion" or something like that. i'm supposed to look under the alchemy tab in the skills window, right? all i see is a list of skills i have and then the "production skills" button at the bottom. i tried moving the window around, but that didn't help either. :/

I would have to be on my game to explane it, but I cant get in right now. I know what you're talking about though. In the skills window should be one with a pot that says "Potion production" you have to right click on it, and it will take you to the window showing you what you have, and what it takes to make it. When you do that, there should be blue, red, and yellow names. THe blue ones you can do since you have them. The red ones are unavailable until you have skill points, and the yellow ones you haven't bought yet.

Usually you only get this message if you're on a mount, or in a house. If you are, then get off the mount, or leave the house, and it should be ok. I know a lot of times it will say "You cannot equip items in your current state" if you try to change your gear in a house.

y cant i change alchemy
You can change your production skills, but only if you purchase a skill reset scroll from the cash shop. Not worth it imo. If you're worried about it and can't afford to fix it, create a MULE account, one you won't use. Get the skill you want on that one, then gather on your main and put it in the storage for the mule to get later.

Yes and no. Lets say someone (me) chose ONE alch skill and bought a perm sc item. Is there anyway to get the second skill or give the item to one of my chars?

Hi folks

I've read about 12 of the 16 pages before deciding to post, hoping i did not miss the answer. I don't understand what some of the production skills are - potions and scrolls i think i get, and stones seem to be for enhancing items. apparently there are 6 skills, however - what are the others for? (is there a list/explanation on the site somewhere - i've not been able to find it?)

My skills seem to be stone, mining and ride mover. Stone i can work with, but the other two i can't seem to find any learning scrolls or similar for, so am not sure if these are actually production skills (ie which one if one of my 2 skills, and what is it for)? If these are not production skills, i only seem to have one - how do i select another one then?

THanks to anyone that is might reply to this post - i see this is an old thread.

That depends on your server and the type of dust. If it's Old dust, you can check for buy shops in Roumen or the other sell shops to get a price range.
For Dim and Lustered, check out Forest Perimeters and Eld.

ok i cant find the scroll production skill for divine magic scroll ruby dont seem to have it so where can i find it

It's not listed as Divine Magic. It's Curse Dispel from Ruby. One of the many misnamed items.

For more answers, I suggest the Fiestafan Wiki: http://fiestafan.com/wiki/index.php?title=Scroll_Production

I'm sorry, are you asking how to get alchemy stones? Or how to purchase skills?

The first page of Item Merchant Nina's sales you need fame to purchase. The second page sells production materials. The prices are listed when you mouse over.

Does that help you?

but it does not work , its wrote to me ( Selected Production Skills Cannot be Learned)
Why?
