Templars

May I ask what's a Templar?
When I did class change just a few hours ago I didn't see any class with templar.
What exactly does a templar do? And how do you get that class?

it's one of those really high uber classes not shown on the tree... i'm not real sure what it is though, i think it's sorta like a paladin i think... but i honestly have no clue
