For the sake of Xen pls Acolytes we must help others when they are in trouble. Like reviving someone who is dead. Or healing people being chased by a mob of monsters. So that the other players will not think that acolytes are useless. So that they will help us if we are in trouble too. Is in't right. Me im also an acolyte. And im only lvl 24. Let's build a community filed with fun and kindness.

Don't you love it when someone comes up to you and says, "Buff and healz pls". You buff and heal them and they don't even say thanks. I love this.

They need u then they i stuck or about to die.Even then u help them they turn back on u.So why help to every one they will drop as soon as u wont be any help.Realy live is harsh. But i know i will take ravage on who turned back one in times of need i need just wait for know

man that happened to me so many times, I stick my neck out to help someone and dont even get on thank you or even a thanks. All I can say is if I remember you doing that to me, dont come to PvP there will be someone aiming right at you. hopefully they will look at my sig and notice this is no hollow threat.

I'm not an acoylte, but I always say please and thank you for buffs. Sometimes not heals, because I forget, but I try. ^.^

noone THINKS acolytes are useless XDD and if they ask for help, then im all willing to help them, or if thye LOOK like they're in trouble...

infact, alot of people on the game seem to think they are pretty helpful in parties, so whatever. XD

Whether they are grateful or not shouldn't matter, it's an Acolyte's job to help anyone in need without expecting reward or praise ^^
If they ARE rude/mean however, let them know it -_-

I differ, if you want to roleplay your class is fine but do not expect everybody to do the same thing, this is not an estrict roleplaying game. Acolytes just are a different class with different skills and different gameplay.

Don't assume that everyone who makes an aco has to be healing and buffing everyone just for the heck of it, if they want to it's fine, but they don't have to.

It's because this line of thought that people are ungrateful in the first place, they begin to think that an aco HAS to heal and HAS to buff everyone, so when you don't want or can't they drop mob on you or kill yours.

I'm not against helping people, I just want to make clear that doing so is not a responsibility but a simple act of good will.

Not ALL people treat acolytes as tools and only want us (acolytes) to heal..There are still some (my friends in the game) who truly wants to help me level up (whether in a large group or just 2 people in a party).

But keep this in mind, acolytes have the job and responsibility to heal ALL people in the group but not necessary need to buff the people. To me, healing is a MUST in a party BUT buffing is not a MUST BUT a CHOICE. I really don't like people who keeps wanting me to buff them just because I am an acolyte and I don't like the idea that the people have the mindset that acolytes MUST buff in a party cos buffing for an acolyte is a choice (a want), not a MUST..

ALL people in a party (whatever class you are) have the job and responsiblity to help one another. :)

Yeah have friend with who i like to go hunting they treath fairly they share loot and understand my needs.But same says i will pay u 5k and thats enouf for u and dont share loot.Like hell i will tolarate that .

before you go critisizing your other players for not thanking you for healing and buffs, perhaps you could think back to the last time you were in the hospital, and remember weather or not you thanked the doctors and nurses there, or did you just drop some cash n go on your merry way?

That's a stretched comparison. You're not in physical pain when your character dies.

Certain people will always ask for free stuff and if you give them a few times they'll keep coming back spamming "buffs" "buffs!" while you may be busy with your own party or trying to level up soloing. I don't mind giving out buffs here and there when I have the free moments, but these guys stalking and spamming are ruining my fun for the game. My solution is to ask them for money, that usually drives away the relentless freeloaders. Pay up, or party up.
