Apoline has, once again, proven its worth. This is the story of the CP Express; the good, the bad, and the chickens. Let me tell you the story and how it began:
It all started with a simple dance party in Elderine as we awaited the start of Steam's GM guild war.
http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b293/lydiaisme/screenshot563.jpg
The war progressed as per usual: Death. More death. And a hug party. :D
http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b293/lydiaisme/screenshot571.jpg
Followed by a Steam parade.
http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b293/lydiaisme/screenshot575.jpg
The parade was driven by a crazy man drunk on apple juice and lime. Needless to say, there were many U-turns and bouts of confusion.
http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b293/lydiaisme/screenshot577.jpg
Eventually, it came to an end in Sand Beach, where Steam left and we were without a parade leader.
http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b293/lydiaisme/screenshot579.jpg
So, with the leadership of Writer and Artist and the following of many others (<3), we decided to continue with the trek, and make our way to Uruga.
Our small party made it to CP1. Good job, guys.
http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b293/lydiaisme/screenshot580.jpg
Although we could have just died and gone to Uruga, we chose to take it a step further and bring our party to CP2.
http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b293/lydiaisme/screenshot582.jpg
There were many deaths, triumphs, treasure chests and cries of, "we own!" and, by the end of our journey, our team slaughtered Ghost Knight. It was epic.
(One of the people involved will have to post their screenies. I didn't take one. xD)
And, like it began, after our moment of silence for the fallen, we danced.

Well, I was not there for the Guild War and neglected to screenshot the first few moments of our epic journey. But: the story so far...
Steam, as Artist mentioned, led us around Roumen and to Sand Beach before abandoning us to our own whims. Most of the crowd disintegrated, but some player - whose name shall be forever lost to the mists of time? - suggested the train continue all the way to Uruga.
Nonsense, of course. From Sand Beach to Uruga is quite a journey, especially on foot. But people continued to suggest it, and on an impulse I shouted "Follow Artist! To Uruga!" And we joined the crowd running for Forest of Mist.
Most people ignored us, and at first we were a disorganized stream of random people running in isolation. Slowly but surely, though, a small crowd began to form around Artist. She walked her racoon to one of the bridges in Forest of Mist and there was a small bottleneck. On the other side of the bridge emerged a small but purposeful party, led by a Ms. Claus on a racoon.
We walked that way all the way to Elderine. I occasionally shouted for more people to join us, and surprisingly a few people joined us. The walk through Elderine yielded more as well, and on the other side of the gate to CP we were a respectable amount. Here I shall list the first casualty of the journey that I know of - Vile, a fine player, changed accounts to join the Express, but alas our hunger for adventure was too great and we were too far ahead by that time.
Here There Be Screenshots
Walking to the CP1 gate, our party briefly separated. But we ran back to rescue our own, and resumed rushing to the gate, sweeping aside all monsters in our way. (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/Twisted_Ferret/Fiesta/screenshot251.jpg)
It felt precarious sometimes, but we managed to make it. When we saw the way to the gate clear (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/Twisted_Ferret/Fiesta/screenshot253.jpg) there was much rejoicing.
Triumphant, we lined up and took a bow (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/Twisted_Ferret/Fiesta/screenshot256.jpg). We had basically made it to Uruga... what else could there be to do? We were finished, right? Oh, what else indeed...
Somehow, some way, we decided to try for CP2. I believe someone suggested it as a joke, but I thought... why not? And I guess my enthusiasm was infectious, because next thing I know the Supreme Cleric Lord togashi was buffing us all (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/Twisted_Ferret/Fiesta/screenshot258.jpg) for our journey inward.
We did not, of course, expect to make it - but though monsters barred our way (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/Twisted_Ferret/Fiesta/screenshot262.jpg), we laid the good ol' Apoline smackdown (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/Twisted_Ferret/Fiesta/screenshot265.jpg) on them.
We made our way through CP1 like this, a (large) party of mostly 30s, blasting, slicing, and generally owning any monster in our way. Once or twice, the tables were turned (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/Twisted_Ferret/Fiesta/screenshot269.jpg), but we managed to scrape ourselves off the floor and continue on... until we finally caught sight of the fabled CP2 gate itself (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/Twisted_Ferret/Fiesta/screenshot274.jpg).
Chaos reigned (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/Twisted_Ferret/Fiesta/screenshot271.jpg) as we fought to reach our goal, but we managed to hold it together. Even giant globs of living rock could not defeat us!
Pausing by the gate (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/Twisted_Ferret/Fiesta/screenshot278.jpg) to congratulate ourself on our nearly impossible feat, we resumed our journey. There was a slight delay as we regrouped and reloaded (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/Twisted_Ferret/Fiesta/screenshot280.jpg), then we set off once more... this time in Concealed Prison Level Two, that domain of nightmare and terror almost never set foot in.
Almost immediately, we were engaged in another fight for our lives. We became slightly separated and for a while things looked dire (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/Twisted_Ferret/Fiesta/screenshot281.jpg). I thought perhaps that CP2 was too hard even for us, but once again the group came through... except for one.
GuildArcher, a noble Archer, had succumbed to death and a glitch early in CP1. Now we lost another noble soul (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/Twisted_Ferret/Fiesta/screenshot282.jpg), the AFK Soremdy the Mage. May she rest in peace.
So it goes. We did not allow our spirits to become dampened, for we knew she would return in the strange and wonderful world of Uruga. Pushing onward, we discovered many strange (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/Twisted_Ferret/Fiesta/screenshot283.jpg) and wonderful monsters (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/Twisted_Ferret/Fiesta/screenshot284.jpg). Carnage reigned.
CP2 was an interesting, sometimes creepy (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/Twisted_Ferret/Fiesta/screenshot288.jpg) place. But even The Long Haul (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/Twisted_Ferret/Fiesta/screenshot290.jpg) did not daunt us, the Thirteen/Twelve/now, finally, Eleven.
I could not resist this neat action shot (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/Twisted_Ferret/Fiesta/screenshot293.jpg) of unparalleled WizMage Artist. :o
Jogging on (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/Twisted_Ferret/Fiesta/screenshot294.jpg) in fearsome array, we finally arrived in the chamber of the Ghost Knight himself! An elite monsters, considered undefeatable by some, we were originally just content to look and shiver.
Until someone said "let's kill it."
Impossible, no? But kill it we did (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/Twisted_Ferret/Fiesta/screenshot301.jpg)! HighCleric Extraordinaire Tk_c mysteriously popped up out of nowhere and helped us defeat it. We died - all of us - many, many, times, but always the clerics managed to res, and always the Ghost Knight's health went down, down, down.
Until the Ghost Knight, too, went back down into the hell from which it came (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/Twisted_Ferret/Fiesta/screenshot302.jpg).
After that hectic battle, we rested and partied. We posed (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/Twisted_Ferret/Fiesta/screenshot313.jpg), and more than once (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/Twisted_Ferret/Fiesta/screenshot314.jpg). Hey, allow us a little pride!
After that, we thought we were done... until someone lured the Ghost Knight again. (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/Twisted_Ferret/Fiesta/screenshot315.jpg) With no Tk_c to help this time, I thought we were goners - but we defeated that one, too!
Our adventure was nearing its end, but we pressed on yet farther. I had it in my head to see the great central chamber, and my unstoppable invincible incredible group plowed its way there with the same competence and might it had every other area. We found some creepy (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/Twisted_Ferret/Fiesta/screenshot318.jpg) and some strange (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/Twisted_Ferret/Fiesta/screenshot321.jpg) places, with a few limit-testing battles in there as well. We even found strange and ancient machinery (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/Twisted_Ferret/Fiesta/screenshot323.jpg) in what looked like a slaughterhouse operated by giant chickens!
Finally, we climbed the very steps of the Central Chamber (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/Twisted_Ferret/Fiesta/screenshot326.jpg). What would we find there? We didn't know, and MY GOD WHERE IS THE ROOF?! (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/Twisted_Ferret/Fiesta/screenshot328.jpg)
Epic. We felt it was a suitable conclusion for that day's adventure, and after a last wild run we all made it to Uruga... there to pose once again (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/Twisted_Ferret/Fiesta/screenshot333.jpg) and congratulate ourselves on surviving the now-fabled Uruga Express.
The end! :)

I'd like everyone who participated in the event. It wasn't on the scale of a GM event, but I enjoyed it every bit as much - if not more. I can't believe people actually came along! Apoline and its residents are truly exceptional. Well done, friends.
See you on the Joker Express! ;)

To everyone, this story is true. I, Michaelus was participating as well as many more.
It started a while ago after GM Steam massacre at Roumen. We slipped into Collapsed Prison safely with only one person dying, but was immediately revived. After entering the Prison, we partied XD for a long time. Then we decided whether should we just suicide and go to Uruga or attempt to reach Collapsed Prison Floor 2. On the way, we saw most of the strangest monsters and a treasure chest that we had to skip.... When we entered Floor 2, we partied again as usual lol. Then we continued to kill one of the hardest monster in Isya, the Ghost Knight. On the way there, we died several times, but sad thing is, most of them were teleported toward Uruga. I say about three people teleported by the time we reached Floor 2. It was sad...and I tried not to remember the people we were forced to leave behind...
Along the way to the Ghost Knight, we encountered several treasure chests, one contained a pet slime :) plus many weird monsters. Another hour later, we finally reached the Ghost Knight and everyone became eager to slay the monster. So yes we did with a huge cost. It was so bad the tanker died in two hits, but thanks to our clerics, everyone did not have to teleport out of there and the monster was finally slain. After that, lol we partied. We took several pictures of ourselves for another hour. After that, we killed another Ghost Knight this time with a larger cost, but we killed it :p. Then we partied more . After awhile we decided to escape the scary place, but half way there, we encountered more monsters. After reaching one room, we were surrounded....All of us tried as hard as they could to make our last stand of our journey. Minutes later, all of us died. No one was alive to revive us...so we said our last words and teleported out.
We arrived at Uruga and some of us were amazed since they never visited Uruga before. Then we had our memorial funeral to remember the ones that did not make it completely through the journey. Thousands of exp were lost. We stood on the hill steps of Uruga and saluted with silence... Then....we partied . Then this thread was created. I'm going to upload some pictures soon to show proof. You may see other members of the express.
I would like to thank Artist and Writer for hosting this event. Everyone had fun, but when it came time to fear the monsters, the two kept our spirits and hope up and went forward. I hope we do this again.

And Writer can you do me a favor? Scratch everything I said. Most of it was inappropriate. Every image has me being stupid (like I am) on it. And you missed the CPF2 part. Do you have the list of participants? Sorry to bug you.
Good news, I have just installed a program that can allow me to record everything and anything. Whens the next time we go again?

I finished my post! It's pretty long, but worth it I think. That was the most epic, awesome, and totally fun thing I've done in a while! :D
Michaelus, of course I will if you feel it's really needed, but I loved your comments. They made me laugh! I say keep 'em, but if you really don't like how they made you look I'll black them out.

I have a participant list in a screenshot. I'll post it soon. And as for another Express event... well, when we're all fully recovered, let's just say I have an idea of another few good places we could try for. ;)

Thanks Writer/Artist (me, confused). I hope they did make you laugh. Anyways it's your choice to erase the bad comments or not. I don't want to take your time off to fix something minor.
And to Kuydo, one picture equals proof. All you need is one picture to prove you were there (as all the time, the camera always points to you). One picture is just as useful as a hundred.
Sadly, this thread is not getting the credit it should be getting...or it's either I am too impatient. Lol I went to sleep at 2am..... couldn't sleep for awhile
