so i just started aco today and i have few questions
where should i spend all my stats on?
how do i get stronger magic?
how do i upgrade my magic?
where can i buy job specific equipment?
is it a really fun job?
are there any techniques as an aco that i should know of while in a party or soloing to avoid any unnecesary events?

Go all int until 30lv then put +1 to str and some in wis for more mp(If need more) then more int and some wis. .Int raises ur magic power heal damage buffs arent effected by int.Ur items sells at essence. This job is fun if u have good party or friends in game other wise it sucks until 26 lv it will be hard to find party since u will be no use to them.Going solo is very slow way to lv up wint aco(I know from my expirence). So if u will go aco u need alot of pation to play with him

well what does MEN and WIS do?
Wis gives you 11 MP per point and there're no bonuses, so every single point of Wis would be useful. Your MP regen does increase every now and then though, but that seems to be related to both your total MP, your Wis and your Lvl, so it's impossible to give you right now an exact amount of Wis to get the next point of MP regen, although it seems to be around 3 Wis. As for Pow, you only need one point when you will be getting a new staff (every new staff you get is one point of Pow higher in requirement than the last), so just check at what lvl you’ll be getting a new staff and get the point in Pow then.
As for Men, it increases a variety of things (hit rate, critical, skill critical and some little dodge), but it only helps on big enough amounts and right now you can’t expend your precious low Lvl points on it, so don’t bother.
And for a build, I would go mostly Int, with just a point of Wis here and there if you feel like you’re lacking MP. It should be noted that you get just one magic point per Int twice in a row (so 2 int = 2 magic), then two magic points per Int twice again (so 2 Int = 4 Magic) and then the process repeats again, so if you want more Wis, waiting till a time you just got those 4 magic is a good moment. Keep with the Int till around lvl 30, then pump more Wis so you leave it at a 3 Int : 1 Wis ratio (with just the pow to use your current lvl weapon) and that would give you a balanced build that can both kill a few things soloing and also have enough MP to buff a whole party without problem. After that, it’s up to you if you feel you need more Int (more damage and heal) or more Wis (more MP) although I would still suggest getting more Int than Wis.

You must mean the spirit skill. What it does is paralize a certain monster for a few seconds or until it gets hit. Its mainly a deffensive move, you use it to escape or to reduce the number of mobs attacking you at the same time.

So, Aco should stick to a pure INT status and WIS to help increase MP?
In the game, which makes me really confused is that, level 2 minor heal stated that Wis is needed to increase the number of HP to be healed. Is that true?

It's a typo, heal spells depend on your magic rate, wich is increased with better equipment and int.
