sry if i am posting a question that has already been answered. but if it was, i was not able to find it. here's my situation in the formats you guys request:

Location: GA, USA
Anti-virus: NOD32
Firewall: up n running
Brief Description of crash or disconnect: i start the client launcher and wait for it to update. then when it says "Ready to game start", i click Game Start. but after i click it, a new window pops up for not even a full second, it's like a little flash on the screen sort of. And then nothing happens, as if i didnt even attept to run the game. :(

System Info-

Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) (English)
Processor: Intel Pentium III, ~690MHz
Memory: 256MB RAM
Page File: 225MB used, 393MB available
DirectX version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)
Display Device Name: S3 Graphics Inc. SavageIX
Approx. Total Memory: 8.0 MB
Display Device Driver Version: 5.13.0001.7056 (English)
Sound Device Name: Crystal SoundFusion(tm)
Sound Device Driver Version: 5.02.3663.0000 (English)
Other: yes, it is a laptop and an old one at that. im sure it could run on my main computer, but I just moved and my computer is still baq in the old house with the rest of my family, and i cannot recieve it until May08 (sucks huh). pity-story aside, i used to play FlyFF and a bunch of other mmorpg's and Fiesta kindda reminds mi of FlyFF (which i thought was a good game)...though i have a feeling I'm going to like this one better. So please respond whenever you get the chance (be it GM/admin or just a player who knows how to solve this problem). btw, i also tried updating the Microsoft .NET thing from 1.1 to 2.0, then reinstalled the game....sadly it didn't work.

in any case, please help, i would really like to play this game.
Thanks in advance,

Here's a list for the minimal requirements to run Fiesta:

1) Intel Pentium IV 1.6GHz equivalent (yours is Intel Pentium III, ~690MHz)

2) 512MB (yours is 225MB used, 393MB available)

3) nVIDIA GeForce TI or Radeon 9200 (yours is Display Device Name: S3 Graphics Inc. SavageIX[)

You'll need to upgrade I'm afraid. You're under the bare minimal needed to run the game. :\

Could I see the specs by chance? I'd specifically like to know the RAM and video card in particular. :O

aww that sux, oh well, at least i now know that i cant play. thatz better than not knowing. i'll try it in a week kuz im visiting my old house and i'll be able to use my regular beastly computer.

i have required specs too on my other computer, but if itz not working for disordeined, then maybe it might not work for mi  . so if theres a way of knowing how to fix this potential problem, then that'd be great too.

btw, thx Jhanniss

The best way is to go to "Start" (bottom left corner), Click "Run", type in dxdiag.

On the dxdiag front page it will list your CPU,Ram,DirectX version and OS.

The "display" tab will show your video card ( top left), and your video driver( top right)

That is the main info you need to check and see if you meet requirements.
