Well, I suggest you mostly put into intelligence so that you have a hard hitting magic attack, but I would put some into stamina and wisdom, so you have some extra health and mana. That's what I'm doing. ^.^

Each level with 1 stat point gain put into Int, and every level divisble by 5 put into Men until say lvl 35 or lvl 40. That is decent for soloing. If you party alot split Men and Wis giving the higher amount to Men. At level 40+ switch off Men for Wis. Boost Pow for the staffs, it's a must. After level 35 you could split the bonus points any way you prefer. 1 Int/rest Wis, 1 Men/rest Wis, etc.

Yeah, I tried that and there's really not a lot out there, so I'd REALLY love it if people would stop flaming me (and other people) for starting new threads, when the only other related threads are old and don't provide enough info.
Please and thank you. :D (I'm smiling on the outside but if you're rude to me I'll destroy you.)

I don't find WIS and MEN important during my lower levels, btw my Apprentice is lvl 30, and i did that in 5 days, i'm leveling for 3hrs. a day. might be slow for some... but i found that my Apprentice is faster to level than my friend which have a ratio of 2INT,1WIS, 1MEN on his Apprentice.

so you suggest i go for full int 1st, then till some point then add men or wis?

i am rather new to this game as well.. but after playing apprentice for some time.. this is my conclusion..
The mp pots in this game sux at the moment.. only weak mp pots.. which makes u wanna add wis at some time.. but i am thinking about the future where they would introduce better mp pots.. so i decided to leave wis as it is.. right now.. my current stats is int:men - 5:1.. and i would add 1 to POW everytime i need to change a staff.. coz thats the basic requirement..
My advice to u would be think of what type of mage u wanna play.. and ur style of playing.. coz that matters more than a standard "perfect" stats.. if u are someone who dun mind spamming a lot of mana pots and hates sitting down to rest.. then go ahead with Full Int or int/men..
Until now i still dunno how much Men has help me as i am only lvl 27.. my critical rate isnt really high and i dunno if there is a change in the casting spd.. but i am risking it coz if i can really cast faster and have more skill crits.. then it's worth the risk..
I suggest u explore the game and then decide on ur build =) Gd luck...

You won't notice much of any change until your mentality is around 10 or 12.

gee, thanks! i think for me i would go for spam pots, train faster that way... as for the men, i think i will wait till 2x then start adding my 1st point in it...

For this u can actually find it in the armor shop.. right click on the weapon itself and scroll down it will show u the stats and requirement.. from what i seen so far.. every jump of weapon which is around every 8 lvls.. needs an additional pow from before.. like lvl 16- 3pow.. and lvl 24- 4pow.. But u shld go for +1 item instead of just switching weapons at every possible interval.. sometimes +1 item is even better than the next one..

Well first of all it depends on your personal style. If you were to check other topics you'd find it out easly.
What I mean is that what you want to do? If you're main dmg dealer type go pure INT if solo I recommend you to mix your stats with both MEN and WIS. (even ppl that are pure INT have some points at WIS tho..).
Personally I'm INT:MEN:WIS build. Well I have 15+ MEN as well as WIS. My INT is over 56+ and from now on I'm going for INT only. I've put too many points for WIS and MEN at low lv and that was my mistake - but know my dmg is lower from other mages around 60-80 points. Even so I'm glad for havin' this build. I love criticals (max 8 crit. chain with acc. and con.) and besides 410+MPs let's me to solo easly plus I can use magic fire 2lv freely without spaming pots (consumes 22MP) per one mob ofc xD
Havin' lower dmg isn't that bad. As you know mobs mostly attack those that deals most dmg. And being a little weaker is good when you're in role of aoe supporter - mobs won't attack you (well not everytime but that confesses'em a bit). Even if few will go after you main aoer will drag'em back to him.
Well I'm not an expert tho, it's my personal observation so don't pay it much attention.
Cheers

pure int is the best at the moment.. you won't regret of becoming weak later in game.. if you want hybrid build, go for int/men.. u will see significant effect (super skill speed and high number of criticals) at 20-30 men which will reduce your damage significantly too.. other stat is rather useless to put into..
