for a support roll id do an end:spr build like pierules says.
though id prob go 2:1 end:spr and when you do your job change at 20 put the extra 5pts in spr so you can get that done with faster.
after you go +25spr go either full end or end:str because there will always be times when us clerics have to tank.

end only is really a waste. because if your going for a support role you would WANT the extra sp that spr gives you. also it gives you the magic def bonus. which is nice.

25 END means getting 2.5% extra block,
meanwhile 25 SPR gives 12.5 magic def and 125 sp.
To be honest, I believe that extra block will be more useful early on (since it makes sense to stop after 50 END anyway), especially if you take up Potion Production and make SP pots.
Thus, I say, for PURE support (no desire to solo) go End til 50, THEN 25 SPR.

Build information on the various types of cleric.
Probably the best "pure" support cleric would be full endurance. Never intended for use outside of party, but the easiest build to sit through a great deal of punishment whilst healing a party.
