I don't think it's a bannable offense. I do, however, think people should just be more careful of stuff like this. It's partly your own fault.

I agree with the scamming stuff has to come to an end, I also hate scammers!!!!
But in this case it comes from both sides imo...
You should have read what he was selling before buying, don't just trust people blindless and just buy a scroll without looking what it is.
He shouldn't scamm at all I agree, but 90% of all scamms are also the other persons fault...

You guys are right I should have been more careful so it is partly my fault, but this guy has scammed more people then just me, he has gained over 100 silver by now and if he can get away and not get punished others will start also. Plus if this isnt a banable offense then what is?

Truth be told, you should look out for yourselves. Read carefully. GMs can't do much, hence LOOK before you LEAP.. Good old saying.

Well, if he is claiming to have Uruga scrolls for sale, and ALL of those scrolls are rumen, then it most definitely is bannable.
GM Dakkon (http://www.outspark.com/forums/showpost.php?p=235082&postcount=150) on the issue.

This is not a bannable offence. You made the mistake of buying it. If you lie on the game and tell me your name is elmo, is that a bannable offence? NO! So this guy lied, big deal, you should pay attention. Also, he can price things for whatever price he cares too.

How wrong you are. Dakkon already judged on this, and doing this is illegal. He said "If you post selling Uruga scrolls for 7s a piece, you better have 7s Uruga scrolls in your store, or the punishment will be severe." Or something to that extent. Want me to go get the link?

at any rate, it's best if you can get proof of his scamming.. a screenshot would be great..
but people should really look before they leap.. i've seen people claiming to buy SBLs for 30c but was only 1c in store..

It's funny how when it happens to others everyone else says its "your fault" but if it happened to them they want a federal investigation.

Well, I totally disagree with that. What I see here is a bunch of rules that are unnecessary.
If you buy a coat and do not try it on, and find out it does not fit later, then fire the person that sold it to you? It should be the sole responsibility of the buyer. If someone gets you with a scam, suck it up and learn from your mistake.

Im so extremely happy to see that on this system scamming IS a punishable offense, because on MANY other games its not and thats just plain irritating.

I think yes it's the players own fault in buying.. always double check triple check what your buying before you buy it.. still the scammer still does something illegal ... posting he has something for sell which he/she doesn't wheter people bought them or not...
the scam is already there.. it's just waiting for victims...

false advertising is even a criminal law.
But i dont think they can refund you for your own mistake, the best they can do is provide you justice.
so i hope next time, for your own sake, check before buying.

it is still scamming. Well the buyers fault cause they didnt look at the items carefully but as u can see, the store name says "URUGA" not roumen so it is considered as scamming! Get lost SCAMMERS

hmm....so i'd better sell uruga scrolls at a higher price than 7s, since u instantly went for it at that price :D
and yes, i think its a bannable offense. taking all his money away would ne nice.

I am anti scam but before I can judge the player as being a scammer I would need to see shots of all 5 slots.
Lets just say I opened a store that says URUGA SCROLLZ R HERE.
You go in and see the first slot only costst 5s each and buy them all and they happen to be eld scrolls. Does that make me a scammer? Not f I legitimately have or did have Uruga scrolls in the shop.
Lean from your mistake and tell others so they don't have to find out the hard way.
Oh, and remember to take a screen shot for all slots or the GM will most likely do nothing for the reason described above.
