composition-decomposition question

hmm may be a noobish question but since i didn't choose these skills i don't know how they work and i wanna learn it.
for other skills, u can start with 1 thing to produce whicch u dun need to have specific production level. like elrue for stones and shield scroll for scrolls
but in composition-decomposition i couldn't find a start point to do that
as fas as i see, every composition-decomposition skill requires sum production level.
prolly i couldn't see the start skill but can some1 please tell me what to do in order to increase my skill lvls?

Not sure what level you are but a good way to get started working your skills is find a good place to farm up common mushrooms/toadstools. You can decomp these into plain ones and the comp them back into commons. You only lose two plains on each comp/decomp so you can do this for a while. Your comp will go up faster than your decomp because the comp will gain you two while the decomp will only gain you 1.

Edit-you will have to get your comp up to 100 to start with but you can do that in Echo cave comping LQ copper into regular copper.
