Hello and good day to all. I did a search and it all leads me to other board. Actually, all I know is what POW and AGI do. What about the rest? And if I want to build a tanking fighter, what should I concentrate on? Thank you.

Pure stamina for a tanking fighter with a lil pow added every now and then...

stamina basically increases your hp. for a more detailed break down of the stats try solsticeplayer.com they have good infomation there along with a couple build suggestions...

But to be honest, tanks aint needed before you turn to Knight (lvl 66). Not anything else than a regular fighter atleast, with either full pow or pow/agi build. And at class change you get a stat reset :)

I'm doing a pure Stamina fighter anyway, lol

get 6 wis, its equal to 20 Sta, when u get blazing, i figured blazing increases my hp by 112 instead of 90, i think its bcos of my Agi or Sta/Wis

Squires are best at 1v1 tanking of strong physical mobs. Pow/Sta would help, but you would have to neglect Agi. Better to focus on a balanced build for a squire.

Well, you could add MEN to your list, since it does raise your physical and magical defense (referring to the Knowledge Base information).

Only armor increases Def atm. I'm not sure if any stat raises magic defence, someone should look into it. I've found that Men for a squire isn't very important, atleast not in the beginning. Excluding every 5th level put 1 point into Pow then split Agi/Sta evenly on each 5th level. Give the odd amount to Agi until you hit Agi(17), then switch the odd amount over to Sta. Why not pure Pow?

1) You level on lower maps faster, so by keeping 1 map ahead of any "blue highlighted" mobs, the power from a balanced build will still kill the mobs just as fast if not slightly slower than a pure Pow build.

2)Sta allows you to go longer before resting, lowers the number of times you need to sit on low level maps. That means less time wasted. It allows you tackle higher levels mobs solo. In parties, it lets you handle multiple mobs at once and with that you can pull aggro off of members w/o diying. You can form parties of 8 and go to high level maps sooner. xD

3)Diverting points into Agi does gives you Pow so not all the points are taking away from damage dealing. It allows you to dodge low lvl mobs more easily. Increases your attack speed which yields more dmg over time in long battles. It increases you skill critical so your specials have more OMPH! and go off more often.

Men isn't really useful to a Squire since skills go off at a fair speed, and standard attack criticals aren't vital for a Squire.

If you want pure Pow stick to low lvl maps and keep solo the whole time. I don't want half-baked squires or any class in my parties...
