i just took screenshots of each map and copyed them together...
the minimap ingame is always the same size, regardless of screen resolution.
i could make the image smaller, but then you are unable to read the text.
(i can send you the worldmap in better quality. pm me on the forums if interested)

gathering map info is quite easy. you only need a neophyte lvl 36, a lot of transparent plants and some hours of time :D
otherwise you wont survive in the high level maps.

Lol. Unfortunatly, I don't play rogues. xD (Actually, I do have one, but she's at level 17 and not high enough for invis! lol). So I bring my highest character into the map, Which is of course, My Squire and about 100 red pots if I need them. And I just run like hell throughout the entire map taking SS's of monsters and the of the minimap itself. xD

Instead of bad quality you should have just made it smaller. The size of the second map is okay but you should make 8000x8000 at least 2000x2000. Then the map has 16 times less pixels so you can use a 16 times better quality without making the file size bigger.

Just google on 'xenepic wiki' and take the first link you get into babelfish or google translate. Alot of maps/info there. Like did you know that there will be a graveyard below Eir?! And the 'lost Brynhilld' found via the sewers. And an Ice Labyrinth etc etc

But that's just how the Japanese game is. Not everything will get here and some things might get changed. (all levels/skills/numbers have been altered already)

like i've said before, this is just a translation, in fact xenepic is too, the original is Xen Online (Doesn't seem to get mentioned alot, Xenepic crops up more), we've just got a few small changes

But before commenting .....think.... what input have you put into this thread? or any other....

The map maybe big, but its pretty damn good! No other one like it around.

The map may take some of the fun out of the game...... so don't study it.

All I can say is, brill job. For those who find it useful it's absolutely brilliant. For those that don't.... will don't click and look.... but bet you will!

This is OPEN BETA which means the site is looking for feedback on bugs etc and the only time complaints should come is when there is not feedback. I have raised this with the GM's regarding bug reporting.

It's a free game, it's better than most, it's good interaction and most of all............ it has built a brilliant forum....

I modified the excellent maps that were done by 088249 here. Thanks to him or her you have a nice view of the entire Secret of the Solstice world.

I just added the latest maps we recently released. Hope they came out good:
