Most CP ones do I know. MT ones should, but I'm not sure.

Burning Hill ones do. I do have a full Glow Wolf one to confirm that.

Although we do have something we can agree on. Fiestafan's wiki is not updated very much, and for a database appears to be lacking a bit, especially on the end of monster info.

Just wondering if Harkan lic gives crit bonus?ty

The thing with the wiki is that there's so few who update it, even though everyone has the power to. The monster info, for example, I worked on to make it more accurate, but can't do anything to the later level monsters (till I have a higher leveled character :P).

Thus, if something IS missing or inaccurate I do ask that you fill it in (i.e. this license info). Right now the wiki is all we have for a general info on fiesta info and I'm sure it'd be much nicer to just point to there instead of answering the same questions over and over.

Here's some more information for you, it's a thread that is just a few posts down from this one :)

I asked a similar question and got some pretty reliable information. I haven't proven everything, but it seems to make sense.

Summary: All licenses can give crit% bonus, but must be increased to the specific title. The reason you don't see licenses such as Mara Pirates (etc.) give crit%'s is because lower level characters level up faster and thus, once the mob becomes green/gray you can't level up the license any more.

A way to avoid this is to:
a) die often so you don't gain a level, until you max out the license (this is really easy to do in places like "BH Hideout" where you respawn near mobs)
b) create new characters and level up the weapon on those early mobs (it's really easy to level up to ~15 if needs be) until you max it out
c) purchase a licensed weapon from someone else who has already gained some levels of license on it, (do this when the mobs are still red/yellow for you)

At least that's my understanding of it. I'm actually using technique "A" on MT mobs right now. I can solo them as a lvl 27 cleric, so i bought me some licenses and intend on maxing out at least 1 (the bonuses are NOT cumulative).

Hope this helps!

A license can be maxed; Knight. Most low-loevel mobs (up to smart phinos, i believe) give a maximum of 35% damage, and 0 crit. It has nothing to do with the color of the enemy, I myself have leveled up a mace for a lowbie cleric that I used with my level 4X.

I have tomb fox to 1% crit and still going. I can finish it later, but I don't play my cleric anymore.

Oh really? So it's purely the license/mob then? So it doesn't matter if the mob is gray or whatnot? Some licenses just don't get higher than a certain title? I thought I just out-levelled my early licenses...

That would make it easier I guess to get a max license, just wait til you're a high level and farm the snot out of the lower level mobs that give you +crit%.

Hmm... Getting all kinds of mixed answers, guess I'll have to figure it out myself or get THE DEFINITIVE ANSWER from a GM-type! :)

This would be good to have a definitive answer to. I stopped working on licenses when they went grey, because I read that they wouldn't work after that. I thought I confirmed that, but I'll have to check again.

You are partly right and partly wrong. The max damage and crit are based on the type of license. Licenses like mara pirates and such max out at 30-35% depending and have no crit bonus to them. At the same time, once a mob becomes gray to you, you can no longer increase the level of the license on that weapon, no matter what level you or the weapon is. So if you are a lvl 40 in MT trying to increase a weapon license, unless the monster is still green to you, it won't increase.

Hey that makes so much sense. So I guess it was a combination of both. Okay, well I guess my "mini-guide" on how to max licenses still applies then (see page1 of thread), it's just that in order to get the crit% bonuses you have to make sure that you have a license that can do so!

Thanks all, I guess barring anything that disproves this, I'll take that as the definitive word!

P.s. I have a Mara license (for "Mara"), anyone happen to know how high you can get that? I suppose it'd take quite awhile in order to max it, just curious, might be something to do with a new fighter I create. But I suppose getting the last hit on Mara 10,000 times is near impossible - but a worthy challenge no? :)

Just wanna ask a simple question...
do the critics of a weapon increase(assume the weapon already got +3% critics) if another license got critics too..
example:
Goblin Terminator completed :(60% damage).....+3 critics
Goblin Swordsman Destroyer :(40% damage).....+1 critics

will the weapon get +4 critics??

No, it won't.

License crits do not stack. The higher crit% level will over ride the lower ones.

It would be a +3

The bonus crits don't stack but the bonus damage % does.

Next Question:

Does the damage bonus apply to all mobs, or just the specific mob on the title?

just specific mob

Yep, it will end up with 50% damage bonus and a +2% crit.

Any liscence that reaches 40% will add crit. The lowest liscences I've seen add crit are Baby Bat, Gold Slime and Glow Wolves. So anything and everything above them should also add some crit. ^^
