Official 2011 Holiday Caroling Event

'Tis the season for plenty of Holiday Caroling.

Well it's time to turn the tables on those catchy and festive tunes and see Outspark immortalize your efforts. From now until December 20th we're asking all you Outsparkers to come up with new lyrics to your favorite holiday carols and songs by adding an Outspark twist to them. This can be accomplished through making the lyrics about gaming, your favorite Outspark game, or gamer culture. The minimum submission is merely supplying the new lyrics and telling us what holiday tune it uses. If you are feeling more creative, you are free to do an audio or video recording of your song and send us a file or link to your efforts.

Every entry will get looked at no matter the type of the submission. Every person posting their entry below for the contest will receive one entry into the 12 Days of Outspark Holidays raffle (limit one qualifying entry per player). The grand prize for the Holiday Caroling event is that a few of your favorite GMs and other Outspark employees will take your song and make and post a video of themselves singing your submitted tune for their embarrassment and your amusement. So get to working on your holiday tunes because you only have until the 20th to submit; we'll be warming up our voices in the meantime.

**Other rules** All entries must be posted in this forum thread to be eligible. Limit one qualifying entry to the raffle per player. All posted entries are given consent to Outspark to use lyrics, audio, and video for promotional purposes. All qualifying entries must be received before midnight on Dec. 20th and the winner will be announced on the 22nd of December in a video released on the 12 Days of Outspark Holidays website.

Ah caroling... how I miss thee in some ways, and how I do not in others.
The one song I loved the most whenever I went caroling was Carol of the Bells. There was just... something about it that I loved so much.

And so, without further ado, here's my holiday carol, paying homage to my favourite Christmas carol as well as Fiesta's ever-loved grumpy-pants king of the Hellgate, Helga.

EDIT #1: I'm going to separate the different vocal sections if in the rare event that the GMs are willing to attempt this song ('cause it sure as heck ain't an easy one!). Since the altos, tenors and bass start later than the sopranos, I'll make reference to which line in the soprano section where the others should begin:

I'm an alto, so attempting soprano was a mouthful for me (not to mention my microphone is crap). My brother Raidenbach is a baritone so the tenor section was a mouthful for him. You can get a rough idea of how all the sections are supposed to sound together.
