I prefer you disciple. Disciple lost acolyphte(I forgot the spelling) buff, but you still have disciple buff(more powerful I think). My friend said become a disciple is good because something about Ragnarok(my friend don't know talk what?)

When you choose Disciple, you loose all Acolyte skills.

Disciple only get a heal skill, which they can use on other players.
All Disciple buffs are self-buffs, you cant give them to other players.

solo and heal = Disciple
party and heal and buff = Cleric.

Think of a Diciple as a weaker Squire with the ability to heal. A rough estimation, but not entirely untrue. The major change is that you will now be a melee fighter.

But at higher levels I thikn you get some sort of area heal spell and also the ability to debuff the mobs instead of buffing your party. Not 100% on this. Someone wanna verify?

Are clerics are worth that hard work later one or just go deciple and dont bother with clerics since they no use.
Ps.I hear that clerics have nuke skill with 10k damage is that true?

That didn't make much sense, so please try to at least read whatever you're writing before clicking the reply button.

And from what I understand of your post, are clerics worth it? First of all, comparing Clerics and Disciples is basically a waste of time, as they serve different purposes and have different playing styles.

The Disciple, as someone already said, is like a weaker squire that can heal himself, maybe help healing others a bit and that’s it, you can go solo or help in a party, but you’re not actually a supporting class.

The Cleric path, obviously it’s worth it, it’s the only support class of the game, and considering that indeed not many players will actually go that path, they will be even more needed. As for a 10K nuke spell, please open your eyes, you’re a supporting class, not a damage dealer, if they sometime get to do 10K with a single spell, then the other classes will be doing 15+K at the time.

The disciple only has 4 skills to begin with at lvl 45: Force Blast, which is the main attack ability, Assist heal, which heals portions of ur hp over time, protection, which buffs your own def, and brace up, which buffs your own attack. The buffs cant be used on others.

yes, but xenepic is very different. watch the vidios, haven't you ever wondered why many people in the vidios are hitting 3000 every strike? everyone in xenepic has something like 10-50X the hitpoints as SoS, and does 10-50X the damage, the mobs also have a similar multiple larger HP to keep the balance. so a 10K spell(if it exists) in xenepic is equivelent to a 200-1K spell in SoS.

my guess is they got sick of looking at all those big numbers like 2752dmg, so they just knocked off a digit off the end of everything to make is something like 275dmg.

Reasonable enough...
At a lower overall hp/mp/dmg/def scale, it will also be easier to caculate damage and defence. Plus, what's the whole point? It will only make the game process more info, making lags more often in the game

from what i have experienced as a disciple myself, character is GinX.

the assist heal that a disciple gets is useful, you dont have to continually cast heal since you get healed over time, however, it isnt powerful compared to the acolyte's and clerics heal, it is however a good heal if you are getting chased. in my opinion, its up to your playing style, do you like to get in close and fight the mobs, or would you rather stand back and support other players. In the end, they are both good classes
