So how do I increase the level of spells?

you need to obtain the level 2 skill book

skill books over level 1 can only be found via monsters (or player shops of course)

Yup, as Roda said. And for level 2 heal you need to be level 31 as well.

And to add a little more info, lvl 2 heals 10 HP more than lvl 1, and it costs 13 MP. Once you get it you can still use the lvl 1 skill though, as with every other skill.

You think the 3 extra mana is worth the 10 extra HP heal? =/

I like to continue using both level heals. I know many only use their highest level however. For me, I've got to save as much MP as possible. Never know when you'll really need it.

Depends on situation, if you are healing while fighting something dangerous then its better to use your best healing.

For overall healing without rushes, its more mp efficient using level 1.

Yes exactly 10 extra HP, the intelligence adds to both lvl 1 and 2.

I thought that Heal was modified by wisdom

Barkingllama

No, wisdom only increases max mp.

Thats why a lot of Acos ignore it completely, sense with pots it's entirely worthless.

when you in a tight pinch i believe so, i mean when all your party members hp's going down at the same time XD

Actually, that holds true for lower lvls (I believed that to be the exact function too), but once I reached around 40+ lvl, I realized now lvl 2 Heal was like 15+ HP in comparison to lvl 1. Still, for a while it will be healing 10+ HP, and even when that increases, the dif is not much, so it’s still safe to assume that lvl 2 heal is not much better and even somewhat expensive MP wise.

I think the Minor Heal spell is going to end up being like buying something with attachment capabilities. Each other little bit that you add on doesn't cost all that much, but the total cost is something like double the original o_O
Lvl 1 heals, say, 100HP, lvl 2 does 110HP, etc etc Master level heals 200 for an extra 20 mana. Something like that, not sure yet O.<

Not just ANY monster, but I'm sure a lot of them. As far as I know, no one has complied a drop list yet.

Nah, if people made compliations of item drops and lists and all that, it would take from some of the fun of the game. Where's the adventure of an adventure game if you know the map already? Where's the surprise of finding a Firewood Armor+1/ap6 when you knew it'd drop eventually from that one monster you farmed it off of? Where's the fun if there were perfect guides to character creation so everyone becomes a god? I hope you see what I mean...

Btw, your sig should say "don't worry about staying alive, worry about being happy" or something. Doesn't sound very acolytish if it's all about you o.o;

"don't worry about staying alive, worry about being happy" sounds quite lame if you ask me, I prefer the phrase the way he has it.

Besides, his phrase makes sense, if you have an aco by your side all you need to focus on is killing the mobs fast, so the entire party gets good exp and therefore the aco, and everyone else, is happy :d

I just picture an Acolyte as someone who keeps people alive and worry free of the terrors of death and thoughts concerning such. Your aco should always give you a sense of security that nothing too bad is going to happen to you and you're deathproof o.O
What I suggested was much more warm and gentle imo, which is how I think an aco should be... but this is a second case where my thoughts on acolytery works are contrary to someone elses XD
But that's just me >>

And to stay on topic, I just got Minor Heal lv3, yet haven't had a legitemate chance to use it =D
