depends. i personally recommend the mace as clerics have rubbish aim, and the mace hits quicker as well. though i think hammers look nicer :D (which is why im using a hammer)

oh, and i have for sale a heaven hammer +3 and a green roumen mace +4 for 7s and 9s respectively :D (sry just couldn't resist an opportunity to advertise my items on sale)

if you ask me, i'd go for the hammer any day. though that level 40 hammer does look kind of cool. but what im after is damage. aim can be solved with an aim scroll.

but then again, look at kholais guide as what the tpam said.

I would say mace because hammer has more str but bad stats
I always saw maces with better stats than hammers :P
