Can't equip Roumen mace

I can't equip the roumen mace to my 20th level cleric, and I'm getting a bit frustrated, especially after shelling out almost 6 silver for it. My inventory is not full, and I meet the required class and level. Can anyone tell me what might be wrong? Do I need another skill or something?

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Have you done the class change yet? I'd be willing to bet that's the issue.

I would venture to say the class change is the issue. As I bought the shield after hitting level 20. However, I could not equip it until I went to class change..EVEN THOUGH the game gives you the title, you are not High Cleric until the official annoucement after the quest completion....

I absolutely understand the problem here. I hit lvl 20 and had no idea why my new weps wouldnt equip. I met all the requirements also. The solution ended up being the quest all these ppl are talking about ;)
