I've been playing Fiesta for about an hour now and have just become completely confused. I cannot access the newbie hunting grounds through the gates. Every time I click on the gate or attempt to walk through the gate it reads: "Area not accessible." Any reason why this should happen?

Also some general question:
What is the max level?
What is the penalty for dying?
What class is most popular? Is there a reason why they are? i.e. imba

You may not be close enough to the gate and are instead clicking on an area by the gate that you can't get to. Try getting close to the gate and clicking on it. If that doesn't work, all i can say is relog and hope it works.
When you die you lose exp, but at lower levels its not that big of a deal.
The easiest characters to play in the game are Clerics and Fighters since they can take hits more than the Mages or Archers.
But the Mages and Archers are usually the damage dealers of the game.
It all depends on your preference.

1.) Double click the gate itself. You don't walk through them.

2.)79 as of Dec.18th. It will go up again later.

3.)No Exp loss until the 10th level. After that you lose roughly 1% of the exp for that level.

4.)That is a personal decision, made based on your preference.
